The shrink says I'm safe! *

* For the benefit of those who may not know, Dr. Krauthammer practiced medicine as a psychiatrist before a diving accident left him in a wheelchair.

It’s way past time for him to speak out as clinician

It seems obvious to us laymen the president has issues

I would love to read the KGB assessment of Barry’s mental condition

I’ve lost any respect I once had for Kraut. In my opinion, he’s become a Washington Pol who’s sole job is to maintain and keep his nest in life amidst the sewage of Washington.

Heretofore, he had seemed to be the clear, intellectual voice of reason leaning to the conservative side, but his recent quips, articles and appearances have led me to believe he’s just feathering his ideological nest. Thus, I’m pretty much of the opinion I don’t care what the hell he says any more.

That is a decision that would require “O” to engage himself more fully than he has/does on any other thing.

His whole persona (as the result of whatever pathology) has always been to utterly detach himself from decision making and/or consequences of decisions.

“O’s” fingerprints are on very little... even at this point in his administration...and were certainly scant during his ‘career’ up to and including his campaign for the Presidency.

IMO moochie doesn’t want Hillary and zero doesn’t want Bubba running around the White House.

I don’t think Barry’s narcissism is going to be the limiting factor. The fact that Hillary would be next in line behind him would be of great concern. I’d be more worried about my life and well being if my death would advance one of the Clinton’s.

It’s true he’s a narcissist, true that this would hurt his pride... but it’s more true that he wants to keep his illegally-obtained job and will do anything to do that. If he becomes convinced that he really needs thunderthighs, then he will use her, and let the media spin it in a way that will make him look like the All Wise One that they all know he is.

Krauthammer is wrong on this one. It may or may not happen but it’s not the long-odds event he makes it out to be, in my opinion.

Should Biden become an obstacle to his reelection, Barry would throw Joe under the bus in a heart beat.

Biden’s an idiot, but politics is his life. And he is good at playing the political games.

Q: Why do you think Biden came out in support of gay “marriage”, virtually out of the blue, essentially forcing Obama’s hand in the matter?

A: To protect his VP position. What good liberal would fire Biden after coming out for homosexuals?

Biden is safe.

I have to disagree with Dr. K on this. I think that it is his pragmatism. And fear. A VP is primed to step into the shoes of he POTUS at any moment. There is a long list of names in Hillary’s past that should give Obama pause before he should consider appointing her as his surrogate.

While Biden isn’t particularly liked it would not help Obama much to switch to Hillary as VP. Besides I think Hillary sees her chance as a presidential candidate after Obama likely loses big this November. I still believe there is an outside chance for a draft Hillary movement at the convention if Obama continues to plummet in the polls.

Even though we have never seen any of his transcripts, I think he is smart enough to not want Hillary one heartbeat (his) away from the presidency.

As I’ve said already, he’d have to admit he was wrong. And he’s never wrong.

Gee, it must be the summer before a presidential election because people are writing about replacing the incumbent VP.

Just like it was written/discussed in past years with Bush/Cheney, Bush/Quayle, Reagan/Bush I, etc. The only time I do not remember this happening was Clinton/Gore.

It ain't gonna happen. But the pundits, political writers, etc really wish it would - just like a brokered Republican convention - because it gives them something juicy to write about.

Nothing to see here...

Not saying it will happen, but replacing Biden would be easy and have no downside for Obama. Obama needed him on 08 for Foreign Policy cred. Now Obama is Pres and is assumed to have it (by the sheeple)

SO here is how it is done.

Obama announces that after a recent health scare, he and Joe have decided it is best for the country if Joe is replaced on the ticket with someone younger and healthier. Joe will continue his public service in the second term as Special Envoy, Sec of State, AG...

If Obama picks Hillary or Holder as his running mate, Either steps down to campaign full time and Biden is named Acting AG/Sec o State. To be confirmed after the election.

If Obama picks someone else - say a Hispanic from the southwest, then Joe can be given a special assignment to focus on (keep him on message) from now until election day. Like Point Man on Iran, or Syria or Egypt... in constant consult with our allies.
