During the Internet broadcast of the Fox News Channels Special Report Online Wednesday, syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer told viewers why the odds of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton replacing Vice President Joe Biden on the Democrats 2012 presidential ticket are very low.
Id say that the Indianapolis Colts have a better chance of winning the Super Bowl, Krauthammer said. And I have only one reason for saying that, and that is Obamas I say this not as a clinician narcissism.
Obama, I think, can never bring himself to do something very large, like this, which would show that he needs the Clintons, particularly Hillary, to win.

* For the benefit of those who may not know, Dr. Krauthammer practiced medicine as a psychiatrist before a diving accident left him in a wheelchair.
It’s way past time for him to speak out as clinician
It seems obvious to us laymen the president has issues
I would love to read the KGB assessment of Barry’s mental condition
Hillary will never be allowed on the ticket because Mooch wouldn’t stand for it.
I’ve lost any respect I once had for Kraut. In my opinion, he’s become a Washington Pol who’s sole job is to maintain and keep his nest in life amidst the sewage of Washington.
Heretofore, he had seemed to be the clear, intellectual voice of reason leaning to the conservative side, but his recent quips, articles and appearances have led me to believe he’s just feathering his ideological nest. Thus, I’m pretty much of the opinion I don’t care what the hell he says any more.
That is a decision that would require “O” to engage himself more fully than he has/does on any other thing.
His whole persona (as the result of whatever pathology) has always been to utterly detach himself from decision making and/or consequences of decisions.
“O’s” fingerprints are on very little... even at this point in his administration...and were certainly scant during his ‘career’ up to and including his campaign for the Presidency.
Hillary wouldn’t take the job of playing second-fiddle to a loser who is likely to go down no matter what she does.
Then there's all that Red Chinese kickback cash still packed away...
I’d agree with you on that cogent assessment. Just seems to me that over the past 4-6mos, he’s *flipped* and I can’t stand to watch/listen to/read him, anymore. Seems that ‘DC culture’ does that to people: eventually corrupts them and their views.
IMO moochie doesn’t want Hillary and zero doesn’t want Bubba running around the White House.
I don’t think Barry’s narcissism is going to be the limiting factor. The fact that Hillary would be next in line behind him would be of great concern. I’d be more worried about my life and well being if my death would advance one of the Clinton’s.
It’s true he’s a narcissist, true that this would hurt his pride... but it’s more true that he wants to keep his illegally-obtained job and will do anything to do that. If he becomes convinced that he really needs thunderthighs, then he will use her, and let the media spin it in a way that will make him look like the All Wise One that they all know he is.
Krauthammer is wrong on this one. It may or may not happen but it’s not the long-odds event he makes it out to be, in my opinion.
VP? I don't think so!
Biden’s an idiot, but politics is his life. And he is good at playing the political games.
Q: Why do you think Biden came out in support of gay “marriage”, virtually out of the blue, essentially forcing Obama’s hand in the matter?
A: To protect his VP position. What good liberal would fire Biden after coming out for homosexuals?
Biden is safe.
My take on is that he’s gone from a ideologic to a pragmatist who realizes his income is derived from fitting ‘that certain niche’. The niche, of course, is the token conservative that is thought-provoking and fills the typical token conservative ‘mouth’ on the DC media circuits, but is not offending or too far right.
I have to disagree with Dr. K on this. I think that it is his pragmatism. And fear. A VP is primed to step into the shoes of he POTUS at any moment. There is a long list of names in Hillary’s past that should give Obama pause before he should consider appointing her as his surrogate.
Aaaarrrgh!!
I need bleach for my eyes!
Kraut is smart: he knows what side his “bread is buttered-on”, so he “adjusts”. I still can’t/won’t listen/read/watch, anymore.
Exactly!
Charles occasionally makes self-deprecating comments on FNC about his Beltway elitism and low approval in Conservative circles. He’s hitting the nail on the head again here.
