My take on is that he’s gone from a ideologic to a pragmatist who realizes his income is derived from fitting ‘that certain niche’. The niche, of course, is the token conservative that is thought-provoking and fills the typical token conservative ‘mouth’ on the DC media circuits, but is not offending or too far right.
Kraut is smart: he knows what side his “bread is buttered-on”, so he “adjusts”. I still can’t/won’t listen/read/watch, anymore.
