Prepare to Survive Total Economic Collapse

The collapse will be a cycle. Its wise to be prepared for all the angles of possibilities .It will be survival of the fittest and most aware. That's exactly what's happening. Either be aware, prepare, survive, and thrive.. or stay in denial and eventually die on your knees. People have a choice. Most choose to stick their heads in the sand while keeping their lazy fat asses in the air. Most of em enjoy the raping.Avoid big cities and crowded places ,Buy food, water, a water purifier, guns and ammo. You will need medical supplies, vitamins and ibuprofen. Power will be an issue. No power? No toilet. You need power for water in the city and if you have a well. When the food and water has run out in the houses and the stores are closed and empty, the people will be in the streets. You DO NOT want to be one of them.

Well...here is the issue: We are a family of 5. 3 kids...one of which is small. Our bug out location is about 30 miles away. Any other scenario we are OK....we have a heads up and can move our stuff. An EMP? If we do bug out...we lose the advantage of having stored up all our supplies.

For the record...I am speaking here of an EMP. And it won't be a regional issue if its an EMP...it will be nation-wide. Imagine 3 cargo ships: One off the east coast, one in the Gulf and one off the Pacific coast. That would take out the country. Any enemy would be idiotic to launch just one.

And I doubt the National Guard will be coming. They have no plans for this at the State level...there would be communications...it would be chaos. Those guardsmen have families too...and they are going to protect them first.

I understand your point, but you can't plan for just one contingency. I consider natural disasters high on the list of problems to prepare for.

An EMP.....I hope that doesn't happen. If so, all our bug out plans are shot. Vehicles won't start if the pulse has fried electrical systems. It'll be animal powered transport, walking, or bicycling.

I understand the practice is common enough. Like some nutty Protestant trying to convince a Catholic he's really worshiping Mary

Nutty? Look up Semiramis. Mary was a fine woman but the woman on the end time beast is a whore. Whores are not particular of what they take unto them. It's not good to mix the truth with the abominable mystery religion of the ancients.

By the way I'm not getting why you want to mix religion-bashing on this prepping thread. There are enough trolls who just want to come to these threads telling us its easier to die than to survive through a little bit of hardship, than to deal with an anti-Protestant flame war.

Yes, nutty. And usually as incoherent as your obscure reference and commentary.

As for why I make religious reference, try backtracking the exchange between myself and the poster I wrote to.

When you’ve been an active FReeper for fourteen years, or become a mod, you can tell me how to conduct myself on this forum.

Obscure? You need to step out from the cocoon they keep you in. Learn what what going on that led the Israelites into captivity. Learn what it was that was so abominable. The same thing is happening today.

Yes, obscure, but that doesn't mean I am unaware of Hislop's claims.

You guys are as bad as the Gnostics, or more appropriately, the Truthers. You always think you know more than everyone else when they don't agree with you.

So what are you going to toss out next because of supposed pagan origins: the virgin birth?

In case you hadn't heard "correlation is not causation," and frankly, I find CS Lewis "good dreams" concept a perfectly reasonable explanation for the Fisher King myths.

I'll start paying attention to your theological fairy tales just as soon as you guys start justifying your doctrinal inconsistencies and extra-biblical rationalizations instead of redoubling your accusations (as if that somehow answers Protestant failings and self-serving emphasis). Criticizing Catholics for not subscribing to doctrines that you extrapolated from the Bible, when we make no pretense of accepting Sola Scriptura, is nothing but a conceit born of, and preserved by, a chauvinistic myopia.

And for the record, I was a practicing evangelical/biblical fundamentalist for over twenty years, so if you want to go toe to toe with me on Scripture: bring it on.

Yes, obscure, but that doesn't mean I am unaware of Hislop's claims.

How can it be obscure when its the main theme of Revelation? Jesus revealed through John the end times and the actions of the seven churches and which churches were worthy and which weren't. There is a whore that sits on the beast with seven heads and ten horns, and her cup of abomination corrupts the peoples of the earth. How can that woman be obscure? Studying Protestants are rightfully leery of worshiping God in any way but how it is written to worship God, and that is to God Himself in the name of Jesus. To say that it is "nutty" for a Protestant to be concerned about mixing in the ancient Babylonian Queen of Heaven worship is very short-sighted. I'm not attacking Catholics, Catholics are God's people. Just keep an eye on how close to the line of Semiramis/Athena/Ishtar/Venus worship you get. Its a trick of Satan. He knew Jesus would be born of woman to be God's only begotten son, and like always Satan put out his counterfeits first to confuse people.

You guys are as bad as the Gnostics, or more appropriately, the Truthers. You always think you know more than everyone else when they don't agree with you.

Everyone has their opinions. If one thought one's opinion was wrong one would change one's opinion. So naturally everyone who has an opinion think they are right. Why would someone take an opinion they thought was wrong?

So what are you going to toss out next because of supposed pagan origins: the virgin birth?

Jesus was born of Mary, a virgin at the time. Mary was a good woman, but Jesus is the savior. The virgin birth did not originate in paganism, it originated with God. Satan knew the plan and so put out his counterfeits previous to Jesus, but did not originate the idea. The Word precedes all.

I'll start paying attention to your theological fairy tales just as soon as you guys start justifying your doctrinal inconsistencies and extra-biblical rationalizations instead of redoubling your accusations (as if that somehow answers Protestant failings and self-serving emphasis).

Yes the number of opinion of Protestants is equal to the number of Protestants. Jesus was the only one perfect in wisdom, everyone else is wrong about things. Different Protestants will be at different levels of wisdom, according to their ability and work in the Word. I believe that those who Sabbath regularly (study the Word) will be high on the wisdom chart, but not perfect of course.

And for the record, I was a practicing evangelical/biblical fundamentalist for over twenty years, so if you want to go toe to toe with me on Scripture: bring it on.

OK. Who are the three peoples that will escape the wrath of the anti-Christ and why will they escape the wrath of the anti-Christ?

I have a question about gasoline storage. Like how long will 10 gallons in a plastic gas container be good. Stored above ground in the woods. Michigan weather. Thanks in advance.

FWIW — I’ve been told that the green Marine Sta-bil is better than the red regular Sta-bil by a friend who is more mechanical minded than me. It costs a little more than the regular red, but he says it’s worth it. I get it at Wal-Mart.

“How about if I tell you “You’re gonna die”? Are you going to tell me “Name an exact date, or go pound sand.”?”

Beat me to it. That type of pinhead also poo-poo’d the idea of a housing collapse, the DotBomb collapse, and a whole host of other major events. I don’t ever care to change their mind. Should there be a collapse we can’t feed everybody.
