While Obama was out hobnobbing with the Hollywood celebrities Sarah Palin was talking about geopolitical events and macroeconomic trends in Las Vegas.
Only this short video clip has surfaced [so far] of Sarah Palins keynote address at Fridays SALT conference in Las Vegas on Friday. Here she is going after the GSA, and all of the wasteful spending:
(VIDEO AT LINK)
Some bloggers including Bailey McCann, the editor and publisher of CivSource live tweeted the event.
From McCann:
Palin opens her remarks at #SALT2012 hello 1% more power to you.
Palin at #SALT2012 politicians are really crafty.
Palin: Hillary was a better candidate than Obama, says Hillary understands private sector, credits balanced Clinton budget

Palin: too many young people are missing the boat on American exceptionalism.
Palin: tea party only just begun.
Palin: we will be just fine if we wrap our arms around American exceptionalism
Lawrence Delevingne staff hedge fund writer for AR Magazine:

Sarah Palin at #SALT2012: Government is out of control and dangerous govt crucifies economic driving businesses.
Palin boosts domestic energy production why would anyone oppose this?
Palin at #SALT2012: Obama doesnt have an energy policy, only a speech. He strangles resource development a none of the above approach
Palin at #SALT2012: Shame on Congress and White House for going years without a budget debts are too high to delay.
Palin at #SALT2012: politicians in Alaska liked to tie pork to public safety and make it for the children I said no to cut spending

Of course, the CNBC business reporter, Jeff Cox, tweeted about what was really important:
Sarah Palin is really, really tan #SALT2012
Its a real mystery why no one takes anyone at NBCs family of news organizations seriously.
If more video surfaces, Ill post it.
As could I. I have never been emotionally wrecked because a certain politician declined to run for the presidency, but I was when Sarah walked from the contest. I really thought that she would be this era's Reagan.
Perhaps in time, she still will be.
In the words of slick Willie
It's the economy STUPID
where is this important video......
You might have the opportunity to vote her in as energy secretary.........
Which would be the perfect platform to jump up the electoral ladder if she wants to do that political office stuff again.
Broken glass soaked with lemon juice...yeah and there are millions of us who would do the same.
Did C-SPAN cover it? There should be a rebroadcast of it soon it they did.
Amen to that.
Thanks for the pings.
This woman is the only one presently qualified to be our President!
Amen!
With crushed Habenero peppers sprinkled all over. You betcha.
Amen to that.
I'm not ashamed to admit it...I choked up and got something in my eye, the night I got the news. That's how convinced I was that she was the one who would steer our country back from the brink of destruction.
Even now, I feel that she should be our 45th president. I just don't see another person out there who's got the right combination of skills, courage, experience, and love of country, to get the job done.
Not sure why she is talking up Hillary and Bill
When I heard her on Mark Levin that October evening, I was pretty down about it as well.
I tried to convince myself that someone would emerge from the wreckage and carry the conservative flag, but when I saw the cockiness return to Obama’s strut I knew that HE KNEW that he had dodged one heckuva bullet.
I think it’s pretty much child’s play for him now. I hope that I’m wrong, even though I am not at all enamored with Romney.
Oh, no doubt about it. In fact, I perceived that the political establishment on both sides heaved and enormous sigh of relief when she walked away.
Obama's not out of the woods, though, by any means. Did you see the Rasmussen poll today? Romney's beating Obama 50% to 43%. Even Jimmy Carter was doing better at this point, in 1980.
I would slide down a 30 foot razor blade into a tub of turpintine to vote for her. Anyone beat that?
Saw a story on Paul pushers who have him winning a brokered convention.
LOL...yeah, mah dog’s bigger than your dog (probably not ;> )
Kudos to the metaphor king...
“In fact, I perceived that the political establishment on both sides heaved and enormous sigh of relief when she walked away. Obama’s not out of the woods, though, by any means. Did you see the Rasmussen poll today? Romney’s beating Obama 50% to 43%.”
Nor are we. Together, the ruling class has 93% of the prospective votes.
Perhaps, but only in the presidential category. The down ticket races will be a whole 'nother matter.
