Regardless of where you stand on the Trayvon Martin case, the fact is that this case is more than just a criminal case. It is about politics; racial, economic, social politics. The racial attacks are heating up, and lets add in some facts which have been accidentally omitted but are quite pertinent to this case.
First, Zimmerman is not just White, he is Hispanic. Second, Trayvon Martin was reported to have been beating down Zimmerman, striking several blows to the head, prior to the shooting. These two facts are not irrelevant. In fact, they are very relevant to the case itself. The first blows holes in the race-baiting that is going on. The second is a very powerful piece of evidence which will be used by the defense to exonerate Zimmerman with the Stand Your Ground law as a defense. The argument, that Zimmerman was in fear of his own life, does hold water when one looks at the picture of his bloodied scalp.
Add to this one other detail: Martin has been depicted in many ways as being a happy-go-lucky middle school student who was gunned down in cold blood by an overzealous vigilante. This is not the case at all. Martin, in reality, was seventeen years old, and fully capable of judging right from wrong. What was in his mind and heart at the time of his death we will never know, but the fact is that he was involved in a violent confrontation with Zimmerman. Martin was known for having issues with others in the community, and the pictures of him as a teenager, shown in a gangster-like hooded sweatshirt, has raised new questions about just squeaky clean he really was....

OJ in reverse...
Yeah. No thanks to rags like you, Examiner.
No one I know would ever use white to describe this. No one!
I only mention this because the only reason this $hit started at all is because the racebaiters thought he was white and then refused to admit they were wrong and use the brand-new term "white-Hispanic".
This reporter will be in danger for writing common sense and facts. There’s no room fot that kind of foolishness.
I’ll say this, the evidence for Zimmerman’s guilt is ambiguous at best. Given this, there is a LOT of room for reasonable doubt. Anything else is mind-reading.
Unless new evidence comes to light, Zimmerman must be found innocent
The Examiner has done some very good work. Don’t assume it is down in the Obama cesspool with the NYSlimes, WaPo, ad nauseam.
Poor ole crayon....
He says that a critical detail we don't know is what was in Martin's mind when he was attacking Zimmerman. Would he be saying that if the races were reversed and if a white man started attacking a black man and was shot by the black man when he tried to grab the black man's gun? Would he care about what the white man was thinking?
At this point we can't know for sure that Martin attacked Zimmerman but everything points to that, including the wounds on Zimmerman's head and the eyewitness who saw Zimmerman beneath Martin.
As I understand it Brian Williams pretended he was introducing Chelsea live at the beginning of her first “report” but it was actually recorded. NBC is notorious for distorting, or not reporting, the facts.
Nope. It’s called to get something for nothing.....or looting...which ever comes first.
The black community was very happy when OJ got away with murder.

Don’t know much about The Examiner, do you ?
I was in a room full of mixed races when the OJ decision was aired...probably will be when the Zim verdict is announced too...
And what was the reaction at that time and in that setting?
I was in a similar situation, and it was sheer bedlam, the cheering and high fives.
I turned and asked a plant supervisor with whom I was friendly and who happened to be black, what all the uproar was about, since it was pretty clear that he killed the woman.
She said they thought it was a great day in America, since a black man could now buy his way out of conviction just like a white man always could.
Not agreeing or validating, that’s just the unvarnished answer I got from a black coworker, whom I liked and trusted.
That is just HILARIOUS!! :DD
