So, tell me, who do we vote for? Romney=Obama=a vote for crimes against humanity
Holy Souls Hermitage ^ | 4/13/12 | Fr George David Byers

So, here’s the website: http://www.cc2w.org/ (you’ve seen their great video). However, I’ve got a question: Who do we vote for?

Mitt Romney created the contraceptive/abortifacient mandate and Obamacare, both of these men reject the Constitution on freedom of religion.

Is it a matter of voting for vice presidents instead of presidents? Don’t vice-presidents just go to state funerals?

Two quotes from Evangelium Vitae of Blessed Pope John Paul II:

(1) When a parliamentary or social majority decrees that it is legal, at least under certain conditions, to kill unborn human life, is it not really making a “tyrannical” decision with regard to the weakest and most defenceless of human beings? Everyone’s conscience rightly rejects those crimes against humanity of which our century has had such sad experience. [EV 70]

(2) In the case of an intrinsically unjust law, such as a law permitting abortion or euthanasia, it is therefore never licit to obey it, or to “take part in a propaganda campaign in favour of such a law, or vote for it”. [EV 73]

So, basically, it’s a crime against humanity to vote for Romney or Obama as that is a direct vote for total war on children in the womb by these totally cowardly, anti-American, abusers of power out to harm children. Is one really better than the other? Really? Tell me why…

I would add the names Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. Remember, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Steven Breyer are likely to be replaced shortly, as well.

It matters who has the House & Senate. Romney is malleable, like Clinton. Obama is a rigid, demagogic ideologue.

Those proffering the notion there is no daylight between them are practicing the worst kind of deception.

You don't have to like Romney to acknowledge this simple truth.

"Romney is malleable". Exactly..he is a controlled robotic tool..of the left. He is not controlled by conservatives..get one small clue.

Everyone has turned this over in their mind just the way you are doing now.

We can either once again, lean into the sucker punch delivered to by the RNC & the GOP-E, or we can implode the PARTY and stop the madness.

WE DO IT WITH A VOTE FOR NEWT.

Beats endless wasting time with the “ain’t it awful” crowd.

The POINT is that many of us can not vote for ROMNEY for the obvious moral reasons, and will not.

The Priest has to explain further about Obama & Romney.

As to the Sin of Abortion, how culpable will we be if we vote for Romney. THIS QUESTION HAS TO BE ANSWERED BY A PRIEST. = It's his job.

Material Cooperation:
1. a greater likelihood that the SIN would not be committed without the ACT of >material cooperation.

Abortion has been defined as a ‘Constitutional Right’ in the USA. The USA kills babies with a Judicial-mandate & the very vocal & material support of the Ruling-Class. No longer can Abortion be outlawed through ordinary democratic processes.

2. Does a refusal to vote for either Obama or Romney change the “right” to Abort babies in the USA?

Are there enough differences in other areas that will promote the ‘common good’ of the people? & Will one candidate wishing to get re-elected be willing to support Judges & laws that protect babies in the womb?

Only one candidate if elected has the opportunity to run as President in 2016. Can we as conscientious voters, vote for Romney & hopefully get pro-life laws passed & pro-life Judges appointed?

Obama by his appointments, statements & actions is pro-DEATH.

Plus other issues:
The USA is going to suffer an economic collapse. It is arithmetic certain. The USA is spending 40% more money than it receives. There are NO tax programs that can cover the deficit. There is not enough money - period. The only hope of maintaining our Society is to cut spending - period.
Obama by actions&statements is intent on destroying the USA as we know it. If the USA is destroyed by Obama&supporters, will the USA be a more >Godly place in terms of Catholic teaching?

We are Obligated by God to participate in the democratic process. This election is going to require prayerful decisions.

3. If we refuse to vote & Obama is re-elected, how culpable will we be on Judgment Day?

There are some very intelligent people on FreeRepublic that have decided Romney is a ‘snake-in-the-grass’ like Obama. = It is better in 2012 to NOT vote for a President but to expend ALL time & resources for candidates at the state & local level.

Best or Good or Bad or Worse = our choices in life. We know from Obama’s record & expressed plans that Obama is the worse choice possible. = It is the end of the USA as we know it. Maybe, Romney is NOT >completely like Obama.

The question for a Priest is about 1. material cooperation? & 2. are there enough differences in other areas? 3. We are >Obligated to work towards a Godly society. = We ALL stand before Jesus Christ on Judgment Day.

So America's National Security and Defense Department are perfectly okay in the hands of a kenyan muslim communist for another 4 years?

Do I have that right?

That you don't mind our Soldiers and Marines answering to a Kenyan tyrant instead of an American citizen?

Go to Newt.org and contribute. For those who still have a primary vote ... get out there and vote for Newt!

The Romneybots don’t want us to do that.

They’re disrespecting JimRob’s House Rules and following their Alinsky loving Maggot Mitts orders.

Newt is the last real conservative standing and they know it!
GO NEWT!! We sent Newt a donation yesterday.

Keep praying! We have a David who is about to use his slingshot on Goliath!

I may not be able to refute every point to your satisfaction. But there is another side to this that includes Romney’s numerous conservative words and actions. But those who try to present this perspective end up getting banned or personally attacked. You might not do these things, but others will.

Thanks for a rational comment. It is sad commentary when a wonderful community like FreeRepublic becomes splintered into factions. Let's not act like we are a third world country.

I understand the vitriol, but there is a larger purpose, and it won't happen overnight.

I posted under #68. We ALL have to answer to God for our votes. Sin=fault is determined by thoughts, words, what we do & what we >fail to do. +Willfulness, full knowledge & serious matter.

I’m planning to vote for anybody but Obama. Newt is much >better than Romney. Don’t give up hope until it’s a done deal at the convention. (It appears as though it will be Romney vs. Obama.)

I will vote for Romney before I stay home on election day. I consider Obama the spawn of beelzebub. I’m Obligated to vote for ANYBODY but Obama running in this election.

Please set out why Romney is better than Obama & they are not completely alike. Do it for the folks that plan NOT to vote. & Do it for the sake of your soul on Judgment Day. We can’t sit home & let beelzebub remain in control of the USA.

Thanx for the voice of reason; I for one see Romeny as being just a bad as Obama but just like we got stuck with John McCain as republicans we will have to work at the grass roots level to effect meaningful change. Obama will destroy the Country as it was and plung it into EUrozone confusion. At least with a RINO we have a chance to strave off what seems inevitable for a while longer and work to derail it.

.....” as republicans we will have to work at the grass roots level to effect meaningful change.”

Boy, you have that right. I watched a brain guy last night on Stosse who said the same thing—that it is far and away more urgent and important to vote in the primary to shape the government. The grassroots is the last bastion of democracy.

Looking over Newt’s enemies and seeing clear eyed that they are the same ones that I have makes Newt an easy no-brainer here.

“truebelieverforever” recommends a website called grassrootsforNewt, or something like that. I haven’t had time to check it out, but we look forward to at least trying to throw this Romney cram-down coming at us.

The enemy is in the gates on FR, that’s for sure.

I vote for neither.

NEWT GINGRICH is my candidate, all the way to Tampa!
(1150 delegates haven’t been allocated yet, 20 states haven’t voted yet).

I’m confused: Are the contributors in red, Obama contributors, or Romney contributors?
