I will avoid “Fox and Friends” for a few days because that’s all we’re going to hear and I’m sick of it already!!!!!!!!

Our next naval warship will be named after her. I hear there's a city in Texas that will be named after her.

Right you are. I threw the Eagles link in there because I thought some people might not know who DH is. I think they did the number as a band on their Hell Freezes over tour, so I took a little 'license' with that reference.
All in all, I thought the lyrics fit the frame of conversation on how sleazy and unprofessional journalism (print or electronic) has become.

News is now entertainment and entertainment is news.
It’s unfortunate Huston lost her life but come on, how many more of these deaths, celebrity or not, will happen BEFORE a family member or true friends intervene?
Good grief!

Sorry for her death, but as far as I’m concerned it’s just another dead junkie who got what they sought ... escape from reality.

ABC will make it up to viewers of the interrupted "Happy Valentine's Day Charlie Brown" with a "Peppermint Patty sings the best of Whitney Houston" special next month.

I hear there's a city in Texas that will be named after her. Wonder if there's any truth to the rumour that Obama is planning to fly the flag at the White House at half staff for 30 days.

It reflects Pop Culture.
It mirrors "Dumbing Down of Society".
It points out "Bread and Circuses".
It is what the Country has become.
This is Obama's America. These things are more important that the North Korean's developing a Taepodong Missile II which could obliterate a large portion of Los Angeles, including Hollywood and all those hotels where these Ameican "idols" and "heroes" and "role models" take their lives through drugs, willingly or unwillingly.
Up is down. Down is up. Heroes are non heroes. Non heroes are heroes. It just screws up the national characteristic. A nation becoming one of mental jelly.

Look at the positive regarding the Media Overkill on this WH Overdose Death News Bonanaza:
It screwed up the visibility and traction of Willard Romney's win (now disputed) in the Maine Caucuses, and his bying the CPAC Straw Poll vote, two items he hoped to run as top headlines to dislodge the Santorum juggernaught. So that really pissed on his campfire media cycle-wise. No prob here.
