Hmmm... What’s more exciting? Listening to Rantorum blather on, or watching paint dry?

Rather listen to him the next four years than the existing professional bore.

Great speech by Newt. Didn’t see the others. How did his compare in audience enthusiasm?

Hmmm, so Obama was a great speaker, very exciting indeed.

So what’s better for our country, a conservative who will fight for our freedom or an exciting speaker?

You took the R from Romney's name and replaced the S from Santorum’s name... Cleverrr... Cleverrrrr..... I've never seen that done with names before. And as debating metaphor your point is made so powerfully and well supported that NOONE could refute it. Whatever it is I mean.

I guess I would have to be stuck with talking about the fact that Santorum is the most conservative candidate in the race for POTUS. How he stood against TARP(Paul - Yes, Romney - No, Gingrich - No), , has always defended the unborn(Paul - No, Romney - No, Gingrich - Yes), always defended traditional families (Paul - No, Romney - No, Gingrich - Yes), always fought for lower taxes and smaller government (Paul - No, Romney - No, Gingrich - No), always been against, always stood against government mandated insurance scams (Paul - Yes, Romney - No, Gingrich - No), always stood against environmental scams(Paul - NO!, Romney - NO!, Gingrich - NO!).

I guess then we could talk about electability... Well Romney will lose in the tradition of Dole & McCain as being just a “lesser than” version of Obama. But I will vote for Romney of Obama because for all his faults I think he would certainly be a huge improvement over Obama.

Gingrich is damaged goods and has been. He will not garner a majority or even a plurality of votes in a national election involving the general electorate - it just won't happen. But I'll vote for him over Obama, I think Gingrich is a decent human being as flawed as any of us. His pandering on environment and health-care over the years has bugged me but I think he was trying to plan for the long-term and just misjudged how destructive the issues were becoming.

Paul is a freaking moonbat blame America first nutter on too many issues but he maaayyyyy be able to cobble a coalition of “some” conservatives, libertarians, dope-heads, prostitutes, whore mongers, gay marriage advocates, abortion mills hoping to at least operate in SOME states etc. But I doubt it. Most of those are going to vote along with the regular avid liberals, socialists and party line Democrats for Obama irrelevant of their misgivings of him. But I'll vote for Paul if he gets the nomination, I'll take a nut like him over a communist nut like Obama anyday.

Then there's Rick Santorum. He just won big in three states. He is the only candidate currently out polling Obama. He is not brash and energetic as we all would like but he is generally clear, concise and thorough. He is the long term consistent conservative on every issue. His issues are always from the heart and never calculated for appeal... and for most Americans, I believe, that has a certain appeal of its own.

So Santorum is my top choice of everyone in the race. Even if some people are cleverly and devastatingly putting an R in place of the S in his name. I just don't care. I guess I am just not the type who can be reasoned with. Sigh...

[I watched all three speeches, who says we have a weak field?]

Since we have 4 candidates, then you obviously must have missed Santorum’s speech. Even my dog went to sleep when he started droning on. Talk about pathetic! This is now the supposed one to beat?! (This must have turned into Bizzaro World.)
