The denizens of the Philadelphia Inquirer are wishin' and hopin' and, well not prayin' of course, that their sinking ship is purchased by a group of city business leaders organized by famous Philadelphia sports fan Ed Rendell who one-time chaired the Democrat National Committee and was once our governor.

Why read more?

I hope that piece of floating turd in the Delaware sinks {and I'm referring to the whole stinken' city of brotherly hate.

Years ago, I did a lot of business there and had an apartment, but even though it was in a very upscale area, I never felt safe in that city.

Philly is as corrupt with demonRATs as NY, Chicago or Detroit.

Let it sink into the toilet bowl and take that liberal rag with it.

As strange as it may sound it has gotten safer. Murders dropped by about a quarter starting in 1995 which-- certainly coincidentally -- is the year the state made the city start allow concealed carry.

But I sympathize with where you are coming from. Pa. would be as conservative as Texas without Philly.

Ahh, enter Fast Eddie...

Gotta keep those wonderful Demoncrat propaganda rags, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and it’s little Toilet Paper brother the Philadelphia Daily News alive....

Two of the most biased, inane pieces of liberal demoncrat trash in the country.

Imho, Rendell and his jurist wife should be in jail for corruption.

Dittos. What he did to the Adams was no different than what Bull Connors did to the blacks.

Coincidentally, I’m reading right now a bio of the Annenberg family, who owned the Inky for a good many years.

Larry Schweikert (FReeper LS) wrote years ago that Democrat operatives would buy media properties and run them at a loss so as to keep their mouthpieces operating. I think they’re throwing their money away.

Republicans who held an eternal grudge against FDR. :-)

I think they’re throwing their money away.

I think so too (and I hope they do)
