Coincidentally, I’m reading right now a bio of the Annenberg family, who owned the Inky for a good many years.

Larry Schweikert (FReeper LS) wrote years ago that Democrat operatives would buy media properties and run them at a loss so as to keep their mouthpieces operating. I think they’re throwing their money away.
