I’ll just home on election day. No sense in participating in an establishment that never meaningfully changes.

Much to early to declare Mittens the winner unless your with the establishment. FL is the 4th of 50 (or 57-60 depending on who is counting) to vote.

I’m not thrilled with any of them, but now is not the time to declare a winner. 80% of the country still has not voted.

Mitt will NEVER pick Sarah as his VP and Sarah will NEVER accept it anyway. She hates Mitt, his goons have trashed her for 3+ years, it will never happen. Just hope that Tuesday people in Florida see what kind of scumbag Romney is and kick him to the curb

We have enough division without a 3rd party.

Don't throw in the towel.

Newt can and should win Florida!

If Romney is the GOP nominee, the party goes the way of the Whigs.

All enthusiasm evaporates over night if Romney wins Florida.

I very much doubt that Mitt will choose Sarah Palin or someone like her as his VP.

She would laugh in his face if he asked. However, he knows better than to ask. There is no one like her. She can't be bought.

Santorum has to get out or he’s giving it to Romney.. and he can forget EVER trying to run again if he causes Romney to be the nominee.. I’ll jump on that Bobby Jindal or Paul Ryan bandwagon as soon as it leaves the station to defeat Santorum if he ever decides to run again

I will support the GOP locally and statewide but will not support Romney.
First time in 8 or 9 POTUS elections I have EVER said that.

I am done with it. The past 48 hours have been like being born again politically.

I see the GOP and most of what is called conservatism for what it is..fake.

Unfortunately, Romney got the better of the debate today. The Gingrich of S. Carolina was nowhere to be found. (He was on the defensive over investments in Freddie Mae, and the notion of colonizing the moon appeared looney to both the audience and the political commentariat.) Santorum was the clear winner and if as a result of today’s performance, his poll numbers go up, this means more votes taken from the Gingrich column. Should this play out, FL which is a must win state for Gingrich and Romney, the outcome in FL will be determinative. If Gingrich self implodes, at least we’ll have Santorum standing.

Why should i give up like some on this thread? I thought the objective here is to get rid of the kenyan klown? I heard the same comments 4 years ago when McLame became the GOP candidate in the end “oh I will stay home” blah blah.

Im not voting for Willard $50Abortion Romney so I would like an option if he gets the nomination. I’d even be willing to support Ron Paul as a third party candidate.

Florida lost half its delegates because it decided to hold its primary early. It'll send less delegates than Georgia, Michigan or Ohio to the convention.

Newt needs to win this, but it isn't make or break for him.

No, it isn't time for the Tea Party to field a candidate, and the candidates available to the Tea Party will have the stature of James Stockdale or Steve Kubby.

No elected conservative Republican will jump ship this election. The only alternative to Obama will be the GOP nominee.

Newt is still drawing thousands while mitt is drawing huundeds or less. mitt is as thoroughly unlikeable as any man wearing skin I have ever seen and it shows.
He might have given a few good stump answers during the debate tonight, but they were insincere and do not comport with his world view nor his religious views.
For instance, Mormons have been baptizing dead Jews for many years even though we have repeatedly asked them to desist from this practice. So his newfound love for Jews and Israel is more or less a crock.
Further, bain and its partners do love shariah banking and all that it entails.
mitt, if anything, is even more ‘quirky’ than Newt, a plasticc man with a plasric soul. This is something that cannot be hidden for very long.
And don’t sell Newt short. Anyone with half a brain can see what is going on.
If Sarah begins to speak about what mitt and his minions have done to her, it is over. I note she is already becoming angry at the array of establishment forces libed up against Newt, and I don’t think she will stay quiet much longer.

I think at this time focus all energy and thoughts on the primary process, this is the key chance now to make the Republican party more to your liking

RE :”It's looking more and more like the RINO, country club, elitist attacks on Newt Gingrich are having their intended effect and that Mitt Romney will win in Florida and possibly take the Republican nomination. I don't know about you, but I'm up to **here** with the “lesser of two evils” nonsense and I very much doubt that Mitt will choose Sarah Palin or someone like her as his VP. What to do, then? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Very simple, if Romney gets it then do what I and many anti-RINO freepers did in 2008 when we were offered no choice which was Obama or McCain: Follow your conscience. I had decided early in 2008 that a McCain presidency at that time would have resulted (effectively) even worse than Obama. That is something to weigh in November as I will do with ANY nominee.

Romney had the 'big' Republican money and the early organization start and he made sure he could get on all the state ballots and fund ads in all the critical ones.

Newt didn't help himself or us in the long run by attacking Romney from the left on Getting rich in American, amnesty and against third party ads (citizen's united and swift boating) under the guise, as it was explained to me here by a few freepers, that he needed to do that to ‘win’. Nailing Romney for being a liberal consistently would have been a better strategy.

I will likely end up only voting in state races. The GOP elites have stated that they will primary challenge Tea Party republicans in Congress and replace them with RINO’s, and will let those Tea Party members in the House flail in the wind during the general and allow the Dems to retake those seats should the challenge fail.

Furthermore, the GOP elite has said that they will leave Scott Walker to his own devices to defend himself in Wisconsin.

You think that Romney will garner the nomination with a 2 state win? NH and Florida? That is what 50 delegates?
