RE :”It's looking more and more like the RINO, country club, elitist attacks on Newt Gingrich are having their intended effect and that Mitt Romney will win in Florida and possibly take the Republican nomination. I don't know about you, but I'm up to **here** with the “lesser of two evils” nonsense and I very much doubt that Mitt will choose Sarah Palin or someone like her as his VP. What to do, then? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Very simple, if Romney gets it then do what I and many anti-RINO freepers did in 2008 when we were offered no choice which was Obama or McCain: Follow your conscience. I had decided early in 2008 that a McCain presidency at that time would have resulted (effectively) even worse than Obama. That is something to weigh in November as I will do with ANY nominee.

Romney had the 'big' Republican money and the early organization start and he made sure he could get on all the state ballots and fund ads in all the critical ones.

Newt didn't help himself or us in the long run by attacking Romney from the left on Getting rich in American, amnesty and against third party ads (citizen's united and swift boating) under the guise, as it was explained to me here by a few freepers, that he needed to do that to ‘win’. Nailing Romney for being a liberal consistently would have been a better strategy.

That's what's bothering me too--he should have gone after Romney from the right.
