Prayers have been sent asking for complete healing and peace and strength for all.

**I did research on the name Gefen, as I had never heard it before. Its a Ethernet cable...but also an obscure hebrew MALE name meaning ‘ivy,.**

Prayers up for precious Gefen, you and all the family. Along with total healing for Gefen, I pray that you all will be granted peace of mind.
if and when you can post the type of tumor and if there is any evidence of metastasis. Also post what chemo drugs she’ll be on. Have her b12, d3 and hemoglobin levels checked and posted. (likely already checked) Suggest her family be pre-screened for transplant.
The last 15 years have seen juvenile cancer go from death to very manageable. One of the major research pushes is in juve cancer. Some of the NIH vaccines work for more then 1 type. more info=more choices.

My grandson lost a kidney at age 2 1/2 from Wilms Nephroblastoma. Did chemo and got scans every 3 months, later 6 months and then yearly until he reached his teens. Today he is a healthy 17 year old. He was stage 3 of 4. So take heart and pray, pray. One can live a productive and normal life with one kidney. The only thing my grandson cannot do is contact sports.
I will have your whole family in my prayers. I know the worry and heartache. We are here to support you. Keep us posted.
