Every once in a while, I can’t resist indulging in a sleeve of hot, crispy McDonald’s French fries. Not even Michelle Obama can resist the attractive allure of the crispy spuds. However, that doesn’t stop her from trying to curb the desires of her fellow Americans. I can only assume that the First Lady’s stint in office will long be characterized by her perpetual battle against America’s increasing waistline. Her attempt to halt the increasing health concerns of overweight Americans is certainly a noble cause, but her methods (unsurprisingly) are not always acceptable within the confines of a classical liberal society.

In NYC we have Nanny Bloomberg who wants to do the same thing
Considering the size of her girth, you’d think she’d keep her mouth shut and try to slim down to a slightly overweight woman rather than the very large bottomed hypocrite that she is.
It’s amazing to think that probably the two most influential woman in the fight against obesity in the United States are Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama. Winfrey has spoken out on this for decades and is seen by some as an authority that should be listened to.
First, I think Michelle Obama latched onto the fight against obesity for a number of reasons. I think Michelle Obama chose this issue because others have laid a groundwork for her and she could just slip into working on an issue where she didn’t have to do a lot of stumping and speeches to get people to listen to her. She has to be one of the laziest First Ladies in American history, but her voice commands the MSM to cover it and she has used them effectively.
Second, she understands the health risks that black Americans face when they struggle with obesity which can lead to heart disease and diabetes.
Third, I think she thought she could do the “mother hen” routine, as the First Lady who has young children. She could speak like she was just “concerned about America”.
And lastly, one of her daughters is not pencil thin, like the other. She has spoken publicly about her children’s BMI numbers. She has personalized this because of her children.
Of the four reasons for promoting her “Let’s Move” campaign, I cannot determine which is the most interfering and Marxist of the three.

Both were posted by a new coalition of college-age blogpimps
who have recently signed up on Free Republic to post excerpts
from their group blog.
We have seen this sort of team pimping before, most recently
from the David Horowitz News Real Blog group. Now deceased.
I do believe there is some form of mass mental illness amongst these pimpettes or at least severe neuroses.
Primary symptom is a propensity to write their profiles referring to themselves in the third person - a very Horowitzian trait.
One of them, Mark Mayberry was a classy enough guy to start posting his stuff in full, once he was made aware of the FR community’s distaste for blog pimping.
Gabriellah at first feigned ignorance and the irresistible forces causing her to click the “excerpt” button on her own writing. She has not been heard from since.
So, amylutz4, you have a choice to make. Do you want to be a positive contributor to this community, or just a callous user?
