Well, let me tell you, after three years of Obama, we are hopeless and changeless, and we need Mitt Romney to bring us back, to bring America back," Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) said in Iowa today at a Romney rally.
* At the end of the video, while Christie is introducing Romney, an "Occupy" protester starts to chant "You are the 1%" as she is escorted off the premises. The heckler also trips on what seems to be wiring for television networks.

As the year comes to an end, the airwaves and Internet are full of prognostications about 2012 from pundits, assorted experts, media mavens and politicians.

While those musings may be interesting, we at Investor’s Business Daily thought we’d add something new to the mix — namely, you. What do the American people predict will happen in the next year?
We asked Americans about everything from Iran’s nuclear ambitions to the possibility that ObamaCare will be repealed to the likelihood of another U.S. recession taking place in 2012. The answers that came back were surprising — with an unusual amount of pessimism about both the domestic economy and foreign affairs.
Our poll was taken from Dec. 4-11 with 909 respondents and a margin of error of +/- 3.3 percentage points.
President Obama Will Be Re-elected
The public may be dissatisfied with the job President Obama is doing — just 37% give him high marks on his overall performance, and only 47% think he deserves re-election, according the IBD/TIPP poll — but most still think he’s likely to win a second term.

Will 2012 become the year of hope and change?
Let's see. Will ObamaCare or Dodd-Frank be repealed? No.
Will the rampant immorality of the Executive Branch and Senate "Homosexuality, Beastiality" be repealed? No, not as long as they are in power.
Will the EPA stop trying to close power plants that use coal or Oil through excessive regulations? No.
Ah, so much for Hope and Change.
Another thread today features a Rich Lowry column in which he states:
"The acrid whiff of decline is in the air in America, in the enduringly weak employment picture, in the spiraling debt, in the persistent pessimism about our prospects, and in the intellectual preparation for a “post-American world.”
If Lowry truly believes what he writes in the first phrase of this sentence, then he surely must know that, in order to restore America to its foundations in liberty, a leader must emerge who, like Thatcher, has an inner core that is firmly fixed in America's founding principles, coupled with a fierce ability to defend those principles of liberty against what Obama has called "a righteous wind" of his version of "change."
Does anyone remember this remark from early November 2008? "At a Virginia rally -— 'If you’ll stand with me, then I know that we can win Virginia and we can win this election and we can finally bring the change we need to Washington,' Obama told the estimated crowd of 35,000. 'I feel like we got a righteous wind at our backs here.'”
Inasmuch as the term "righteous wind" has not been a staple phrase in American politics, and, upon further research, one finds these words from Chairman Mao:
“The ill wind of opportunism is falling, the righteous wind of socialism is on the rise.”
Four years later, in 2012, the "wind" has brought what Lowry here describes as "the acrid whiff of decline" and "persistent pessimism about our prospects."
So-called "progressives," sometimes reveal the roots of their beliefs in their easy use of words and ideas from those they have studied.
Which potential Republican candidate has studied, and is likely to call up the ideas and words of Jefferson or Madison in a debate?
Which is most likely to be able to expose, rebut and rebuke the counterfeit ideas of "redistribution" which have led America to the brink of "decline" with the "self-evident" truths of the philosophy of the Declaration of Independence?
That speaks volumes about what he thinks his chosen one can do if he is elected.
...OR what he WILL do to change things...NOTHING.
Now we know why “fat boy” could not be talked into running this time around.
Romney and the GOP told him that he will get his turn next time around........just like they and McCrazy told Romney that his turn was in 2012.

Christie stating the obvious at the imminence of our selecting Dole McCain III as our nominee.
This fat blow hard is no better. He believes in the same crap as the kenyan only he gets a kick out of being more vocal. People in NJ are gaga over him because “he speaks his mind”. Big deal. He sounds like a thug straight out of the “Sopranos”.
Christie isn’t a conservative—OK I still like him but I wonder if the lounge lizard Republicans have the guts to take back America or will they just screw it up more (as they have in the past). They will be better than Obama/Hillary in any case—but that’s not saying much. Huckabee, Glen Beck, Sean Hanity could do better. The way things are now even Oprah could run things better. Looks like the Mitt Fix is in and all we have is a sort of psycho-drama in the Primaries—a reality show of sorts (Thats why Trump could do well). Still, I think things are going to be hijacked by international events soon. Our president will be selected in Europe and Asia not in the Two parties.
