Whatever it takes to convince yourself I guess but you’re going to wish it had been on the table before its too late.
It's just that every other candidate on the stage long ago determined that Romney never had a chance of winning and that the real battle was between the rest of them. When you think about it... it's not just Romney that has been ignored, Huntsman and Paul have been ignored too. Only Perry saw Romney as a real threat, but because of his apparent brain damage was unable to land a blow on him.
I feel bad for Perry. I wanted so much for him to be the guy. He now has this great ad out about prayer, gays in the military, etc. It’s a command performance ad. He’s together, he’s striking, he communicates professionally.
Then he gets a live on Fox question about the ad, and he stumbles all over himself mumbling some kind of “ain’t it awful” response.
That was TWO entirely different people.
If someone could just get the rehearsed Perry to possess the ad lib Perry, this nation would have a real leader on its hands.
This isn’t the Trump debate, and Perry, Bachmann, and Huntsman will all be part of this debate tonight.
Okay, that means no Romney and no Gingrich. Who's left?
My favorite ad of his was his first one with that horse running across the beach with the dramatic music... it freaking gave me the chills. And that speech he gave when entering the race, wow!
Such a shame.
Does anyone know what time the debate is on and what network is carrying it?
Oops. Saturday morning brain fart.;-)
December 10, 2011 | 9pm ET on ABC – Live Stream Location: Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa Sponsor: ABC News, ABC5/WOI-DT, The Des Moines Register and Republican Party of Iowa Participants: Romney, Perry, Bachmann, Gingrich, Santorum, Paul |
No Huntsman..he doesn’t have high enough poll numbers.
Everyone is focused on how good it sounds hearing conservative views come out of Gingrich's mouth on the debate platform. In a debate with Obama, however, the undecided audience won't be listening to a word - they will be making a visual comparison, just like they did with Obama and McCain.
That's probably one of the main reasons why the Establishment is pushing Romney - they figure enough dumb voters will think he is good-looking to switch their votes away from Obama.
“Okay, that means no Romney and no Gingrich. Who’s left? “
I’ll vote Gingrich...but not Romney.
With everyone pinning their hopes on a debate between Newt and Obama they keep forgetting it will be the liberal media who will ask the questions and it will be the liberal media running the cameras.
Ron Paul's losing it. Next he'll do an impersonation of Ross Perot musing they're gonna mess with his daughters wedding...
Too nutty for me.
And as to attacks from others...who are the others that will be there. Huntsman said no, Perry and Bachmann said no.
I think you’re thinking of the Trump debate. To my knowledge, only Huntsman will not be there tonight!
Does anyone know what time the debate is on and what network is carrying it?
ABC 9:00 p.m. Eastern
Newt is a career politician just like Perry. During election time, it’s all big talk on what the voters want to hear. After the election, they slip back into lib mode. Thanks, GOP, you’ve given up 2008 again with no one to vote for.
Man, have I been out of the loop! There’s a debate tonite? Who is carrying it; CSpan? Alphabets?
