The Republican Jewish Coalition will host a candidate forum on Wednesday. N.J. Gov. Chris Christie will give the keynote speech and all of the major contenders are reportedly confirmed to attend, but one: Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas.

“Ron would be happy to speak to their group, but he was not invited,” spokesman Jesse Benton told Capital Hill, via email. “We called to ask if he could speak, and they said he was not welcome.”

These Jews are silencing Ron Paul because they don’t agree with him.

At a republican Mexican-American debate - for obvious reasons - primarily focused on immigration policy - I would expect all the republican candidates to be invited from softies to hardliners. On any issue it’s either a free debate including those “horrible people” you can barely stomach but are nonetheless real and a force to be reckoned with or it’s simply not a real debate.

That said, being a private club that Jewish group can do whatever they want and even restrict the discourse to their favorite kreplach recipes. So this is purely an otious dispute. If they put the talk up on the net, I won’t be clicking in to see it because in their enthusiasm for their own position they left out CONFLICT. Debate by its very definition is about contrast. It means placing your certaintaies on the line and not inside a padded room free from criticism.

One nation will be the hegemon of the world. It’s either the U. S. or some other nation. Which nation do you nominate to fill the void if the United States turns isolationist?

China?
Russia?
Iran?
a multi-nation Islamic consortium?

You better think log and hard about what you wish for, because China wants exactly what you want. So does Russia, and the Islamic nations of the Middle-East, Northern Africa, and Asian regions.
