Ron Paul Barred From Republican Jewish Event

The Republican Jewish Coalition will host a candidate forum on Wednesday. N.J. Gov. Chris Christie will give the keynote speech and all of the major contenders are reportedly confirmed to attend, but one: Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas.
“Ron would be happy to speak to their group, but he was not invited,” spokesman Jesse Benton told Capital Hill, via email. “We called to ask if he could speak, and they said he was not welcome.”

Absolutely, people who care as much about Israel as the USA don’t seem to like Ron Paul.That's true enough here on FR.
Anybody who disagrees with the observation, just visit a thread about Ron Paul--small government advocate, strict constitutional constructionist, and the only bona fide conservative Republican in the field. See what gets posted.

Any polite person would inquire, because there could have been an oversight, or they may have changed their minds, but simply asking is hardly "groveling".
LOL. This ain't no garden party. It is a big political event. Paul and his people know exactly why they were not invited and to turn around and "inquire" about it is groveling. This is just the some old "Woo is me" BS the Paul campaign pulls out on a regular basis. He is the Rodney Dangerfield of politics.
