Admitting that the playing of the song Lyin Ass Bitch as GOP presidential candidate Minnesota Representative Michelle Bachman made her entrance on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon TV show, was a miscalculation, NBC executives announced that the bands drummer would be grounded for a week.
While it may seem unfair to place all the blame on one person, the offense isnt serious enough to warrant sanctions further up the line, said NBC Senior Vice-President Doug Vaughan. If Ms. Bachman had been a more important person sterner measures mightve been considered.
The precise nature of the so-called grounding remains unclear. Personnel actions are confidential, Vaughan insisted. But those who themselves have been grounded as punishment can grasp the gist of the penalty.
Drummer Ahmir Thompson vows he will not take this lying down. Since when is telling the truth a crime? Thompson asked. He also demanded that the punishment be suspended until higher authorities are consulted. The President is a good friend of mine and so is his wife, Thompson maintained. The NBC brass need to know that therell be consequences if I am made to suffer in any way for exercising my rights.

Bachmann:
Gingrich, Romney Inconsistent Conservatives

With little more than a month to go before the Iowa Caucuses, presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann took off the gloves against her two main GOP rivals in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV.
The Minnesota congresswoman accuses former House speaker Newt Gingrich of being too tied to special interests, while she says that former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney is not a real conservative.
And neither man has stood true to a set of core convictions, emphasizes Bachmann, whose new book is entitled, Core of Conviction: My Story.
I dont sell myself for influence, insists Bachmann, adding that the location of Gingrichs Washington, D.C. office on K Street is the epitome of establishment politics.
He has an organization thats taken in well over $100 million to have influence on behalf of special interests in Washington, D.C. Isnt that exactly what were trying to get away from: crony capitalism?
“Thats what Ive been fighting when Ive been in Washington. And thats the real juxtaposition. Its one thing to present yourself as a conservative. Its another thing to be a conservative. I am a conservative.

“By saying he was grounded, it seems that they are just making a joke about it. It sounds juvenile. They are doing everything they can do to make it less serious.”
Yes. All conservatives are targets for the Obama Media Group.
