RICK PERRY IS DONE
National Spotlight ^ | 11/2/11 | Derek Petrella

Posted on 11/02/2011 9:35:32 AM PDT by NationalSpotlight

After Governor Rick Perry gave a speech in New Hampshire last week, he should pack his bags and kiss his hopes of winning the White House goodbye. When you are running for President of the United States, the highest office in the land, you do not go up on stage and make a fool out of yourself! Perry must have consumed several martinis or even shots of Captain Morgan. He was clearly buzzed while speaking to supporters in New Hampshire. After the speech, Perry was embracing a bottle of maple syrup the same way he would embrace his dream girl. This bizarre episode makes Rick Perry into a clown who laughs at his own jokes. Rick Perry is no longer considered a serious presidential candidate vying for the Republican nomination.

National Spotlight decided to endorse Rick Perry because of his jobs record and conservative values. Since Perry announced his candidacy, it has been all downhill. Perry cannot debate to save his life. Every time Perry attacked Mitt Romney, he lost the battle. Perry failed to explain his position on immigration, social security, and his HPV vaccine program. And the Republican Party expects Perry to beat President Obama in a debate! Not going to happen. Perry has failed to articulate the conservative message and communicate his outstanding jobs record to voters. Furthermore, it took him months to propose his flat tax plan. Perry only did this because Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan was gaining traction. From the start, Perry was never disciplined and serious about becoming president. Rick Perry is out of control and will continue to be a virus that is slowly destroying his campaign.

The Republican field, as it currently stands, is so disappointing and embarrassing. Everyone thought Rick Perry was the guy to take out Mitt Romney. On the other hand, Rick Perry has proven that he is not presidential. Herman Cain's answer to abortion leaves the audience with questions: "Is Herman Cain pro-life or pro-choice?" As someone who is not a politician, he told the truth the first time: he is pro-choice. Now, Herman Cain is in a mess with a sexual harassment scandal. If the accusers are legitimate, then Herman Cain is in major trouble. The rest of the field is not legitimate at all or does not have a chance to win the Republican nomination for President. The Republican Party will most likely nominate the rich elitist governor from the liberal state of Massachusetts: Mitt Romney. Historians will look back and say: what was the Republican Party thinking when they put up a weak field against a weak incumbent President!?

National Spotlight has decided to withdraw its support for Rick Perry. His campaign and Rick Perry himself should take a long look at the mirror or its going to be an eternal struggle in the wilderness. Don't get me wrong, Perry still has a shot at the nomination. However, Perry's actions are embarrassing and immoral. Rick Perry is a bad reflection in the mirror for a future President of the United States.

You idiot, the person who put on the event was with Perry before, during and after the speech and he was not drunk. The splice and edit hack job came from Romney and evidently so do you.

Rick Perry was DONE the second he called everyone who does not believe in giving bennies and IN STATE TUITION to children of ILLEGAL ALIENS "HEARTLESS".

It is not "heartless" to want to uphold the rule of law in AMERICA and to provide AMERICAN CITIZENS with the rights and benifits that rightly belong to AMERICAN CITIZENS ALONE (yes I am screaming!)! What is it about the word and concept of ILLEGAL, these so-called politicians REFUSE to understand?

What propaganda this piece of ___-work is.

He was relaxed and having a good time, looked to me like. Seemed like he felt comfortable with the crowd he was around.

yep, can’t have a candidate at ease and comfortable, eh?

So Perry comes out stiff and flat in debates and he is criticized by just about everyone. Then Perry gives a speech in NH, gets a little animated and loose on stage and now he's "embarrassing and immoral". Whatever! LOL

Whoever posted the video thought wanted other people to think he was drunk.

I fixed your typos.

Apparently Perry got a standing ovation from the group he was addressing. So either they all had a buzz on or he was considered very entertaining. I watched some of it. He was a little goofy but did not seem drunk.

Perry claims the viral video was edited to make him look bad

And the "National Spotlight" site has so little traffic it doesn't even show up on site analytics.

‘So if the family does not want to have the child, then what happens: abortion’

No! It’s called adoption. Knucklehead!

You sir, seem very young and naive. I would suggest a little more time experiencing life and learning something, anything before pontificating about things you know nothing about.

Of course adoption is an option, but most people do not even think of doing this and have an abortion instead.

What exactly is your point? Cain stated a point about requiring a family to RAISE a child of rape.

If there was no abortion there would be one less option. Raise the child yourself, give it up for adoption. As it stands now there is a third, abortion.

This is what I mean by naive. The entire question is absurd since most abortions, well over 99% are NOT from rape or incest. It is the pro-aborts biggest canard and should be treated as such.

No, Grasshopper. It's the other "A" word. Adoption. Learn about it. It's a beautiful thing.

I hate that for you, being all nerveless now due to Perry “bashers”.

There is a lot more “bashing” to come between now and Super Tuesday (when I figure ol’ Rick will drop out), especially with Perry handing out free sledgehammers to anybody half paying attention.
