The protest on Wall Street is chafing under an unwanted infiltration from below. It seems that while the focus of the protest has been aimed at transferring wealth from the 1% above to the deserving 99% below, uninvited lower echelons of the 99%namely the homeless vagrants that infest many American cities are showing up for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sharla Tane, one of the Occupy Wall Street cooking staff, complained that our hard work is being filched by spongers looking for a free meal. The problem isnt prejudice, Tane insisted. I mean, were not against government helping the poor. In fact, thats one of our demands. But its not our job.
This protest is for people to express their revolutionary consciousness, to promote the transformation of America that President Obama promised, Tane argued. These bums dont know anything about revolution. They cant tell the difference between proletariat and provolone. Theyre just here to take our food.
Refusing to serve the homeless interlopers is problematic. At this stage of the protest many of the genuine revolutionaries are quite aromatic and disheveledliving in tents, going without bathing and defecating in the streets. Distinguishing them from the filthy homeless is no easy task. Even when such distinctions can be made there is the risk that those denied free food may just decide to seize it themselvesan outcome that the revolutionaries would find it hard to condemn given the eat the rich rhetoric theyve been spouting.
In related news, Massachusetts Democratic senatorial candidate Elizabeth Warren claims she is the brain behind the Occupy Wall Street movement. I created the intellectual foundation behind what they are doing, Warren boasted. Redistributing wealth from the rich to the poorthat was my idea. Giving people free stuff instead of making them pay for everythingthat was my idea, too. Warren asked for the states voters to elect her to replace Senator Scott Brown so that I can help make these great ideas the law of the land.

OH, the IRONY!
Yeah, but they love the balony.
You do not often get me but this one is a briliant gotcha. It is a whisker’s width from the truth.
Where is the Mad Hatter?????This has got to be Alice In Wonderland.
I know right? More proof that these a-holes are completely and utterly full of BS. They get their stuff ripped off and they complain. People take their food and they complain. Well excuuuuuuse me you idiots! Isn’t that what you want? Oh wait, but only if it happens to other people!
Excellent! Good work.
Redistribution is good, but only when they get to redistribute Other People’s Money.
Nice try on the satire, but in this case, the reality of these neo-communists is satire in itself. If I was a real communist, I’d be really pissed that these spoiled brats are making a mockery of their ideology, even if it is an ideology of 100% failure.
I wish the Tea Party had thought of this. Spin off an anti-capitalism protest and show up with expensive cell phones and computers, gourmet food, etc and then complain when the poor show up to eat. Brilliant!
“I mean, were not against government helping the poor. In fact, thats one of our demands. But its not our job.
Ah, government stash money pays for this, not the people.
Heh. Hard to tell it’s satire, because this is exactly how these people think.
It must be getting more and more difficult to write satire when reality gets so close. Even if for certain topics reality is still far enough from the satire, sometimes it takes less than a week for reality to catch up to it!
dammit, sucked-in again!

Said the college loan defaulter. Oh, the irony is so thick...
but Obama’s transformation of America would make everyone bums , except the Obama circle ,so what’s the problem with starting with real buns
Karma, baby!!! BWAHAHAHAHA!!
It’s kind of like a couple of bums fighting over the spot near the stop sign at the exit from a Walmart parking lot.
The Wealth Redistribution 101 class they are taking at the School of Hard Knocks is giving them a great education! Wouldn’t you agree? Let’s keep praying that more positive things like this happen to them!
>> were not against government helping the poor. In fact, thats one of our demands. But its not our job
Ahahahhaaaa ... I love good satire.
You are very informed. Miss Sharla Tane has much to learn. Good Job John. :^)
