The TEA party’s Cain mutiny
coachisright.com ^ | October 18, 2011 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

The TEA party is in a, mutiny, a Cain Mutiny and the Republican establishment – Karl Tokyo Rove and his “open the borders to get Hispanics to vote Republican” friends- don’t know what to do about it.

Last year the TEA party movement scared the Democrats. With the major league butt kicking we put on the Democrats they finally got the message.

Nevertheless, along the way we learned a hard lesson as we watched the Republican establishment savage our candidates in Delaware Nevada and Alaska.

They helped Harry Reid hold the Senate because to them Democrats are preferable to TEA partiers. We got their message, now we will be the ones teaching the lessons. Now we will have to scare the Republican establishment, Tokyo Rove types.

Our first order of business in scaring the Republicans is this message: WE WILL NOT NOMINATE WILLARD ROMNEY – PERIOD!

It is not only us who are saying we won’t fall for their “faux” conservative. Consider these recent poll results: Out of 49,000 votes cast in a nine way Newsmax survey, Herman Cain got 35592 or (71%), Willard Romney got 3604 or (7%) - 1/10th Cain’s vote!

The new Zogby poll (certainly no far right operation) shows that not only does Cain beat Willard Romney by 20 points in a race for the Republican nomination, Cain now actually beats Obama and Willard loses to Obama. Suck on that Tokyo Rove!

In the latest Economist/YouGov poll Cain’s 33% almost doubles Willard’s 18%.

The liberal Democrat run Public Policy Polling firm shows Cain beating Willard 30/22 and moving up.

In a recent Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll Willard’s 23 points trailed Cain’s 27 points. While Cain’s numbers increased by almost 5 times what he had August, Willard’s 23 …in August.

I saw him last evening in Arizona; the event had to be changed to a larger venue because it had sold out so fast; so many people so enthused about him.

Thank goodness there is a gauntlet laid down somewhere in a message that might be delivered straight to the RNC, the congressional RINO population, the media, and yes even to FOX! That we are NOT going down this road again.

Grant it the race is on for the nominee and some have their favorites who are not Cain, but who also WILL NOT tolerate the conservative tier of candidates being dissed to impose Romney. Period! We shall all line up in our proper places to fight for the conservative candidate over Romney. We will see who that candidate is but Romeny is not going to get the proverbial pass to the nomination the media hopes for.

This makes me nervous. This guy sounds great, but he's never been elected to anything and has never been fully vetted. We have one chance to oust Obummer and we need to get it right.

Don't accuse me of being a Willardite, because I'm not, but I need to know a lot more about this guy.

We’ll be at Gulf Greyhound Park in Galveston County to see him next week. I’m sending my wife ahead to hold seats as I have to drive down from work and expect a SRO crowd.

There are many lists and threads provided by Cain supporters which include facts, dispel rumors and provide links.

Those FReepers who support other candidates have also posted concerns and questions about Cain.

How do you usually vet your candidates? Read, read, read biographies, criticism and use your own judgement.

has never been fully vetted.
You don't get to the CEO's office of large company without a full anal exam. Not to mention the entire MSM is all over him doing opposition research. I don't think anything is going to turn up, well not anything that's true. November 2 probably some Anita Hill wannabe will step forward with a Herman Cain said my whopper was really juicy story or something as stupid.

The only way Cain can’t win is if we don’t vote for him. If we all get behind a candidate selected by Rove and the elites like we did with McCain, we’ll get more obama.

We don't mind a little foot in the mouth, if the speaker is shooting straight, and is not "politically correct", every once in a while, he will step on his crank. OOPPPPSSSS.

Stand by for the “If you don’t vote for ______ you’ll help re-elect obama”.

I say “We tried it your way in 2008 and we all held our noses and voted for McCain. It got us obama. This time, why don’t you sell outs join us.”

Romney will NEVER get my vote.

"...Herman Cain said my whopper was really juicy..."

More likely an inappropriate reference to anchovies or pepperoni.

Rove, Krauthammer, O’Reilly, Hume and their ilk will try their damndest to make sure he doesn't get the nomination. It sure will be fun to watch their antics once he does.

It’s not US I’m worried about...it’s T-H-E-M as in MSM...they know how to take that foot out of his mouth and shove it where the sun don’t shine.....

How do you usually vet your candidates?

By how they handle the campaign trail and how they perform in office. That's why I prefer candidates who have won and succeeded in statewide offices.

The Tea Party handed us a candidate for Governor who had never been elected to anything and unfortunately he got his vetting in the general election. And he was a real turkey, almost falling below 10% of the vote.

This guy might be the real deal, but I need to know a lot more about him. I also have questions about his 999 plan. The last thing I want to see is a new national tax.

I have a question for ALL: Has any of you actually seen Willy-Rom-Rom-RINO look squarely into the lens of a camera when answering a question?

Ads do not count as they are scripted by his RINO-wranglers.

By that standard Obama should have been a stellar president. It is almost universally agreed that Obama ran a superb campaign.
