I know I like what Herman has put out to the public. What I want to know is what will be in the Democrat opposition research file. And that’s not something we will know unless and until he gets the nomination. That’s why I’m leery of candidates who have never held office.

You're forgetting the other piece of what I said, the observing how people handle office part. Who Obama really is was right out in public view, but the public just wouldn't believe it. We here on FR sure knew this guy was an Ayers/Wright/ACORN liberal.

I believe anything glaringly bad would have come out in his 2004 GA Senate run. The GOP establishment was pretty ruthless in that race.

I’m still undecided. I’m really surprised, though, that the more voters see of Rick Perry the less impressed they are. I thought he was going to emerge as the anti-Romney. This campaign is already taking some twists.
