How many years has mittens been running? I've lost count.
Those who exhibit the most fear so far are The Media, The Entrenched GOP Establishment, and Freepers who back a different candidate that they fear will be swept aside by a Palin entrance.
But didn't I read the deadline for some primaries is as early as mid-October?
If he "retracted" this promise, I will expect him to retract ALL his "promises".
I will NEVER vote for a RINO again. I only voted in 2008 because I voted for Sarah. I thought once her and that one she tried to drag across the finish line were in office, she'd set him straight.
But that fool messed everything up "suspending his campaign" to get back to DC to vote FOR the bailout. I believe we were ahead before that blunder......which I think he did on purpose.
I don't think mclame actually wanted to be President.
Mittens gets Utah no matter who is in the race.
None of the early primaries awards enough delegates to matter.
But didn’t I read the deadline for some primaries is as early as mid-October?
Some have posted Utah as Oct. 15, but that seems to be in conflict. The Utah Lt. Gov website list the date as Jan. 15, 2012. Other dates coming up shortly for ballot access are:
Oct. 28, New Hampshire
Oct. 31, Florida
Nov. 1, South Carolina
So time still exist to file for these early dates. You can miss them and still win but I don’t think you’d want to miss FL and SC. NH will probably go to a liberal anyway.
Ultimately, a decision will be made and we will all be privy to it.””
Maybe.
But I wouldn’t bet on it. I think inaction and silence is also a possibility.
“It is transparently obvious that those who insist on pinning Sarah Palin down to specific dates FEAR her. Therefor, they seek to impose on her candidacy arbitrary “rules” which, if she “violates” them, they can declare her candidacy to be invalid.”
What candidacy? Is she running?
I couldn't have said it better. Thanks.
Nope. It's Palin's way or the highway.
By golly-gosh-darned - she make the rules.
There's a new boss in town and she'll decide when the trains run.
And if you miss the stop - too golly-darned bad.
It's all Palin - all the time
All the way!
It's Palinpalooza...
And on 11/06/2012, it doesn't matter who wins. Because Palin will win - even if she doesn't run. She won't even have to be sworn in. She'll be "miracled" into office.
“So time still exist to file for these early dates. You can miss them and still win but I dont think youd want to miss FL and SC. NH will probably go to a liberal anyway.”
RFK didn’t announce until March 27th.
Palin’s advantages:
1, not running against an incumbant.
2, former VP candidate from the previous election.
3, name recognition. Most people already know her.
4, political experience.
Similar to RFK in these regards. However:
Humphrey was well ahead in delegates, even before RFK entered the race. He did manage to win in Indiana in May of that year, and in California.
Palin could wait and pass delegates by, but it gets harder the longer she waits. And then there’s the risk of a candidate solidifying the field.
Basically, I would put her ahead of everyone out there right now, but her advantages are eroding as time passes.
Just like that arrogant jerk Ronald Reagan, who announced his candidacy on November 13th.
Mitt’s been running about 6 years but it feels like forever.
I’ve been wondering the same thing about some of the declared candidates.
“Because Palin will win - even if she doesn’t run. She won’t even have to be sworn in. She’ll be “miracled” into office. “
Exactly, Sarah could even win the presidency as a write-in candidate announcing as late as a week before the 2012 election.
The big difference is that this year the Primaries are moved way way up...in fact with Florida switching their date it pushes other states into January. And you have to get on the ballot.
“Exactly, Sarah could even win the presidency as a write-in candidate announcing as late as a week before the 2012 election.”
She could even run a week after the 2012 election and still win. Maybe the electoral college will pick her. They meet sometime in December. It may be a little unconventional but this is an unconventional campaign.
I do hope that’s satire/sarcasm.
Even though I am a Palin supporter, I think that’s gotta be one of the most asinine things I’ve ever read on FR.
A write-in candidate, announcing a week out of the elections? The only way that’d work is if both candidates from the Big Two (whoever they are) had proven themselves to be utterly incompetent and the American people knew it.
And THAT, sad to say, is not likely.
