Palin w/ Greta on Fox: I Noticed for the 1st Time Palin was not introduced as a Fox News Contributor (EVERY OTHER TIME ON FOX SHE WAS) and the Tagline also did not say 'Fox News Contributor'
I am sure she didnt want to try to explain that one
**********************
Why not? It seems proper and ethical that she would. I’m not trying to be a chit, it honestly seemed odd to me. Even completely innocent, it gives the appearance of being shady.
Yeah, that's the ticket. Fire Sarah Palin only to put her right back on the air in prime time to talk politics!
Not sure if you missed my point there.
I dont know if you saw that letter posted here. There is no good way to explain what is in that particular letter, so if she has seen it she probably wants to avoid the issue. I can believe that she may not have seen the letter BEFORE it went out, anything is possible. But she still get’s the responsibility.
I feel the same way when someone on FR constantly trashes my candidate..I fight the feeling because Palin is not reponsible for what some of her supporters post
Some repeat the same misinformation over and over.
You don’t like my candidate?..fine..Just don’t distort the facts.
Thanks for posting the link to the appearance. It makes the thread much more user friendly.
Did she refer to “Herb” Cain? Is that his nickname, or did I just hear it wrong? She said it like 8 times. Herb, not Herman.
When was her contract supposed to be up? I heard it was a 3 year contract, no idea of the date, but just assumed she would get out of it when she announced for the WH
And you are the guy that said he had a change of heart about Gov Palin after watching the Undefeated...I noticed that lasted less than 24 hours, now you are back to your old self.
I heard Sarah Palin use the term "Herm" not "Herb" for Mr. Cain.
Likewise, the term she used was "shackling" and not "shackle-y" as cited by the lamestream media such as ABC and others.
Then why do you hang around and read all the articles and posts if you can’t stand her or the FreeRepublic posters. See if you can find a RINO site.
The transcript doesn't match what was said by Greta during the actual introduction.
Greta did not refer to Palin as "Fox News Contributor".
“Rope a dope.”
Simply awesome...
Some posters are enthusiastic about their candidate, that's no big deal. Some posters like candidates other than Palin, again that's no big deal.
What has "turned me off" are PDS'ers such as yourself. Nobody attacked you on this thread. Yet you enter the thread and feel the need to trash a bunch of anonymous posters as "worshippers".
Sickening.
I disagree with you, please take the time to read my analysis.
I think she is playing it exactly as she should. Look what happens when she is in? She is the instant front runner, and she then gets hit by both the republicans and democrats. By standing by we have already seen newt, gone, perry faultering, Romney not surging, Bauccman down. And what has that cost her financially or popularity wise???? Nothing, not a dime.
It becomes all about her when she does run. There was a great book that came out about baseball a few years back called moneyball. It told how the scouts of the A’s started looking at statistics through a different lens then they had before. The asked, what is the outcome of the game? To have more players cross home plate than the other team. The scouts had focused on players with the highest Hit ratio. But they were not looking at ALL the stats. What they figured out was, the players that had statistically better discernment to not swing at the full count and take a walk. Statistically these players were just as valuable to crossing the plate in the game as guys that got hits to get on base. So the A’s began picking these guys up for cheap, (they got paid less since the value was on hits not walks). They began to statistically score more RBI’s because more guys got on base.
ALL that is to say is this. Let’s look at how Palin as played the game with the resources and opportunities available to her. Since she left the VP campaign,She signed a huge multimillion dollar book deal. Book tours. Fox news Channel news commentator deal. A series of documentaries on Alaska. (Again multimillion) .... She has created a powerful grass roots army that lie in wait for her next orders. She has more political capital than any other person in politics in the last 25 years. NOW here is the question for you....
1. Have you seen ANY VP (winning, Let alone Losing) candidate still a daily household name 3 years after the election?
2. When you think about the strengths of the political game, and you read the moves above, has she played out all of her opportunities to the hilt? Or squandered them?
3. Does she have the political, and financial backing to wait out to the last minute to make her move?
Adding all of those factors up. Is this a person that has the leg strength to rope-a-dope her opponents? The answer as I see it is.... YES.
Funny, I feel the same way about Perry supporters, but that just me.
Last minute??? You mean election day 6:59 AM before the polls open ?? What about the write-in ballots sent in before that? She doesnt need those?
Just heard on the radio out of Atlanta that Florida is moving their primary earlier.
Which will make the others move to early January.
Wow, a concensus LOL.
I am amazed on how some of the new-on-the-block Perry-bots have been acting and attacking much like the (aggressive) Palinistas. Yesterday a Palinisa called me a closet Perry-bot(disrupter) , while a Perry-bot called me a closet Paul-bot a couple of days earlier. But the first half of 2010 the Palinistas were accusing us of being secret Paul-bots. Yes, the Perry-bots are acting just like the early 2010 Palinistas.
The whole thing inspired this:
Oh geez... Do I need to use hand puppets or have you heard of figures of speech? Eye roll.....
Are you saying she has to announce (if it is yes) sometime significantly before election day?
On another thread someone said she will never announce that she wont run, that she will be 'thinking' about it until the election, all while going on Greta giving her expert opinions on the election.
