A few months after Massachusettss governor rejected a federal program that checks the immigration status of local arrestees, a drunk illegal alien with a criminal history killed a motorcyclist in the state and another who had been deported racked up his sixth drunk- driving charge.
Had the state participated in the federal Secure Communities program, both men would have been turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for deportation long ago. Instead, they were released by local police and allowed to continue committing crimes in their respective communities.
Thats because the states governor, renowned open borders advocate Deval Patrick, refuses to participate in the initiative that requires local authorities to check the fingerprints of arrestees against a federal database. The idea is to deport dangerous criminals, many of whom have fallen through the cracks over the years.
Two alarming cases have surfaced in Massachusetts since Patrick officially rejected Secure Communities in June. In Milford, a 15-square-mile town with a population of about 27,000, a drunk illegal immigrant from Ecuador struck and killed a motorcyclist after dragging him a quarter of a mile. The illegal alien had several encounters with local police, but was never reported to federal immigration officials. Milfords police chief says Secure Communities could have made a difference in this tragic case.

Reckless Endangerment!
I don’t see any American citizens stepping forward to get all, these DUIs! This poor misunderstood fellow is just doing what Americans won’t.
We can’t even deport them for anything.
He is providing work for the police officers who arrest them. It is one of 0bama’s economic stimulus programs. /s
Any American citizen would presumably lose his license and his auto insurance for doing this. But an illegal alien doesn’t have or need a license or insurance in the first place.
Sadly the people of Mass. get exactly the government they voted for.
Yes, the Peoples’ Republic of Massachusetts has Romneycare, which is the parent of Obamacare.
The poor dear needs psychological therapy and a chauffeur, paid for by the citizens of Massachusetts. And if you disagree, you have no heart.
Ping!
So he dragged him a quarter mile THEN stuck and killed him?
Nice writing there, Tex.
There seems to be nothing an illegal alien can do to warrant deportation.
Even if such an illegal criminal tried to run back to Mexico I can only assume he’d be dragged back so he could commit crimes here again, plus of course the welfare, FS and voting under multiple IDs.
It’s so far beyond evil and crazy I can’t see how it will get fixed.
They spelled “Devil” wrong.
It really wouldn’t have made too much difference. If they had deported him he would have gone home, seen his Mom and been back before the cops finished with the paperwork.
Pretty soon our borders will have guard towers with machine guns ..... pointed inwards like on the Berlin Wall.
I admit it...I'm such a heartless witch! :)
If you were an illegal alien, the government might help you to find a healthier outlook on life...
But you're not, so forget it.
Are you on MestaMachine’s Fast and Furious ping list? Looks as though Issa and Grassley are not giving up, more news is coming out, it’s gaining traction. Here are a few from today. Check out the third one especially - Town Hall meetings about it, word is getting out to the public.

Sure would be nice if these morons who put Sanctuary City policies in place be charged under the RICO statute. They actually perpetuate crime and should be held accountable criminally for their actions. Electing a true conservative as President might be just what we need start putting a stop to this crime wave.
