Stand With Arizona
Sneaking it in late on a Friday afternoon on a very busy news day, the U.S. Department of Justice quietly told the Texas Secretary of State that the state's Voter ID law - passed this past Spring - "lacked enough information for the government to render a decision."
More specifically, the DoJ wants more information about the "group of , 605,576 registered voters who do not possess a valid ID". What kind of information? Why ethnic information, of course. But they only seem interested in Hispanic would-be voters, not Black ones...
The department specifically asks the state to identify how many members of that group have Spanish surnames, which counties they reside in and an estimated number by race. The DOJ also requests the Secretary of State provide the number of registered voters in Texas with a Spanish surname who currently possess a legal form of identification.Section 5 of the federal Voting Rights Act gives the U.S. Department of Justice or the federal courts the authority to review laws that would affect voter participation before they are enacted. And the DoJ is vigorously using that authority to harass states who have passed Voter ID laws, having already taken on provisions in Arizona and South Carolina, in a clear effort to bury them before the 2012 elections.
As Roger Hedgecock proved in his shocking report from the 2010 midterms in California, the Democrat Party is very organized in their voter fraud efforts, registering illegal aliens and felons to vote using "Moter Voter", and then using shill voters to vote in their name come election time. In addition, over 5,000 illegal aliens were able to vote in Colorado in 2010. Voter ID would put a STOP to illegal alien voters. And the Democrats can't allow that to happen.
EXCERPT...CLICK HERE FOR REST
Vote fraud is a 99.999% democrat thing. I have never read of a case of republican vote fraud. Does it exist at all?
FUBO and FUHO.
Ping.
The Michigan secretary of state is trying to purge dead and illegal voters from the voter rolls. Naturally the feds won’t help.

Uh oh....
Texas RINO State Reps are gonna be rally mad. They been tootin their horns about what a tremendous victory this law was.
Of course, they don’t speak about the sanctuary city bill that they slow walked to death.
SOB!
Is it possible to just purge the rolls and then let the chips fall where they may? Why give DOJ the upper hand? Purge the rolls, and then make DOJ take the state to court.
I remember hearing a former county clerk on a Houston talk radio station discussing this. He said ALL the voter fraud he uncovered was democrat.
I may be wrong, but I believe southern states still have to get ‘permission’ from the federal ggovernment, prior to re-districting, or changing voter laws...a relic of the civil rights movement. Here in Kansas, our new AG got a voter I’d passed quite swiftly...no federal permission required. We are considered a GOP lock in presidential elections; but, it should help prevent another Sebelius, etc.
To be clear, this is a fight over photo vs. non-photo ID. Texas has had a non-photo ID law in place for a long time.
I was always asked for my ID when I voted there.

The non-photo ID law is still in effect.

I think Fl just passed something like this.
Here in WI, Voter ID finally passed and was signed by Gov.Walker.
Previously, it passed but was vetoed by Scumbag Gov.Doyle the Boil. He also vetoed Concealed Carry twice. Gov.Walker has already passed that law too. That goes into effect later this year.
Voter ID in WI goes into effect in time for the presidential election.
Before, anyone could walk in to vote, have nothing on them for any proof of residence and have a buddy in line with them “vouch for them” and say they did live there and they could vote.
We have had plenty of fraud here, thousands and thousands of votes per election.
Let’s just say the dems are mighty upset with everything Gov.Walker and our elected republicans have done since taking office.
When we get a real American president, liberal heads will explode.
I noticed they featured Wasserman-Schultz doing her “Jim Crow” speal again ... them nasty Republicans wanting to make being an Illegal Immigrant illegal to vote!!!!
How dare they!
