You knew the first one to get married would be a Navy guy.
At least you did if you had ever been in the Army.
Or had heard the Village People song.
At the stroke of midnight yesterday, it became OK to be queer in the military.
And across America, newscast after newscast carried the water of the gay-rights movement. We saw repeated pictures of clean-cut men kissing, and heard any number of past and present military homosexuals talking about their moral victory, and there were sound bites of various generals and secretaries testifying that this was the right thing to do.
Opposing voices were intimidated into silence, politics trumped policy, and a new day dawned.
The next step will be on-base family housing for gay couples, and chaplains performing gay weddings. Then there will be a law suit or two and a couple of congressional speeches and gay lovers will have military-dependent ID cards and will be shopping at the post exchange.
Then there will be sensitivity training seminars and Gay History Month commemorations and each of the services will compete to promote the first gay general or admiral. The American pulpit, long infiltrated by homosexuals, will produce a ready line of candidates for the chaplaincy, eager to have the big paycheck and the captive audience.
Dont get me wrong.
I dont have a problem with homosexuals in the military. I was in the military myself, and served with many homosexuals. Most were good soldiers, none were harassed or professionally jeopardized. Most were repeatedly protected by higher ups. Only one was inappropriate. Unfortunately, he was a drill sergeant who threw a pizza party for the drill-and-ceremony detail, complete with gay porn.
But I dont have a problem with gays in the military.
As long as they keep their orientation to themselves. Not that they need to keep their nature secret, but that they shouldnt wear it around like a chip on their shoulder. Human desire is universal, the specifics of human desire vary and are personal. Some guys like fat girls, some guys like girls with big boobs, and some guys like guys. Maybe common decency says nobody should be overly advertising their particular preferences.
But thats counter to how the gay agenda advances itself. The modern gay-rights movement is antagonistic and aggressive. It insists on being the center of attention, the defining issue in all situations. It demands not parity, but priority. It is an in-your-face assault on the sensitivities and values of others. If you share their views, you are enlightened. If you dont share their views, you are a bigot. Thats how it is in this politically correct society, and thats how it will be in the military.
Its not gays in the military that will cause problems, it will be the more-more-more demands of the gay-rights movement that will cause problems in the military.
Yesterday was just the beginning. The only official opinion allowed was joy and rejoicing at this advance for gay rights. The kissing pictures on the evening news proved that. All across America, families had to explain to children why two men were kissing and that was a victory for a gay-rights movement that is fundamentally hostile to traditional family values.
Which brings us to Dancing With The Stars.
I dont control the military, but I do control my TV. And this season, there will be no Dancing With The Stars in my home.
Why?
Chastity Bono.
Dont get me wrong. I have sympathy for her. Ive known of her since she was a little girl singing with her mom and dad on their TV show. And I can understand why she is screwed up.
But she is screwed up.
And her fat-tattooed-bearded-man act is not entertaining.
She is not a man, she is a disfigured woman.
And she is not an appropriate example for my children. Dancing With The Stars may say its a family show, but its clearly not my type of family show. Or a show for my type of family.
The Hollywood types can pretend she is a he, and in their crowd that may be normal.
But its not.
Its freakish.
Is that bigoted to say? Is it an unacceptable point of view?
Too bad.
Because this is a free country. Chastity Bono is free to call herself Chaz, and I am free to call her a fruit.
And I am free to watch or not watch whatever shows I choose for whatever reason I choose.
And if I choose not to watch some dancing show because its spotlighting a he-she, I dont think Im the only one.
Does that mean I hate Chastity Bono? No. Does it mean I disrespect her? No. It simply means Im free to have a point of view, too, and Im free to raise my children any way I choose.
And I choose not to submit them to a TV culture that actively propagandizes homosexuality.
Theyll get enough of that when they join the Navy.
You're right, it isn't normal and I can't even go into what happens to these guys body parts from aggressive and repeated sex. Their certain body parts were NOT made for sex - it was for elimination (I won't go further). Sex is a pleasurable act given by God for a man and woman to multiply and enjoy the experience while doing so. They want their perversion to be acceptable by all and while there is one God fearing person on earth - it won't be.
Or what happens, after Republicans brush social conservatives off permanently. Only anti-American lefties need enlist.
100& right!!!
There are NO moral victories, only a further slide into the abyss a.k.a. Hell, for that matter.
Spot on! My fag friends (2 “married” guys), who are in their mid-30’s have odd and weird (for normal people that is) sicknesses and conditions. Always off to this doctor or that doctor for something. Gee, I wonder why...?
Gee, I also wonder if the “gay lifestyle” leads to increased medical costs...?
I think I remember that story well. (If I remember correctly) the young man hit the gym, a serious diet and the recruiter would run with him. He obviously wanted to be in the military and was willing to do what it took to make him eligible. The military shouldn’t be a social experiment institute. It should be allowed to be what it is intended for (groups of men and women preparing for combat or engaging in combat). No liberal agenda or “me” groups allowed because it isn’t about being “all warm and fluffy”. It is totally about the protection of our Country. IMHO, when we start “playing” with what/how the military should operate... we are allowing ourselves to become weaker.
The Marines still have a weight limit right?
She is too old for the Marines.
???
You mean a Marine Mammal, right? Chaz is a whale.
