At the request of tea party leaders in Arizona, famed Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has promised to investigate the validity of Barack Obama's purported long-form birth certificate in a determination of the president's eligibility for the county's 2012 election ballot.

A question that should asked of every election officer who had to formally ‘sign off’ on Obama and Biden eligibilty in 2008:
“Since the DNC Chairman in Hawaii (Schatz)refused to confirm and sign off on the their own native sons eligibility and even ensured they avoided making that declaration in 2008 - why did you allow this ticket to be on your state’s ballot?”

Someone in Arizona will file a criminal complaint to get the ball rolling.
Then the Sheriff will simply need to state that he wants Obama on the ballot, so he must resolve the criminal complaint. He must do his job and enforce the law.
I predict this is going to happen in multiple states. The BC is just too easy to prove it's a fraud. We may be seeing the beginning of the end for our Indonesian president.

If he has the power to do that, that would be AWESOME! It might even be good enough to force other states to require proof as well. It's still not as good as if an entire state were taken out of play because of this.

3. What would ‘bam lose from not getting his name on the ballot of a largely conservative district? How would that compare to further vilification in the press, a lower turnout, and the possibility of a court decision to disqualify all votes that the Republicans risk.
I know nothing of the legal snares the dims could exploit to monkey-wrench this, but I’m certain they’ll use all they can come up with?

The complications of which you speak would likely occur AFTER the election. (If Obama gets re-elected, we're screwed anyways.) The benefits which we would receive would occur BEFORE the election.
I have long thought that the value of excluding Obama from a ballot on the basis of his NBC status is to bring attention to the fact that he is not NBC. An entire state would be an un-ignorable throw down. A large county might be, but I suspect Obama could just ignore it without provoking much outcry. He could not ignore an entire state (even a conservative one) because it just wouldn't make sense to most voters that he would let a state go uncontested (over his NBC status) unless he has something SERIOUS to hide.
He cannot square that particular circle.

I have long thought that the reason most mainstream Republican/Conservative personalities have distanced themselves from this issue is because from the very beginning, they analyzed the political consequences of taking up this issue, and concluded that to question Obama's eligibility would be regarded as a "dirty trick" by most Blacks, and it would put those politicians (and their supporters) who did so, on the stigmatized side of the debate. For reasons of Social cocktail parties, no one wants to be embarrassed in front of their friends and associates over this. (Yes, I think they are just that shallow.)

Something need not be practical to work in politics. (Obama comes to mind.) The political damage caused by being excluded from the ballot just because he won't provide a simple document is too big a question mark for people to give him a pass on it a second time around. If he concedes a state because he won't give a copy of his original birth certificate, he's toast politically. This political reality will be reflected in the electoral college later.
Thanks Kate - at a minimum this may raise the temperature in the national consciousness that we have a criminal occupying the White House.

You know, when you lump people into a category without looking at them as individuals it is referred to as "prejudice."
I have long stated that the "birth in Kenya" theory looks like nonsense to me, and the only reason ANYONE thought it was viable was because for so many years, Obama led everyone to believe he was from Kenya.
I have examined the known facts and documents regarding his Mother and Supposed father, and it seems completely unfeasible that Barack could have been born in Kenya. Beyond that, I think there exists a possibility that he was born in Canada or Washington State, or he may very well have been born in Hawaii.
You should not presume that everyone who thinks Obama's qualifications are being covered up believes that "born in Kenya" stuff. And when you do encounter a person that does believe it, you should keep in mind that Obama's lies about himself are how that rumor got started in the first place. They should not be ridiculed, Obama should be.
