"Damage Control: Active Duty Air Force Staff Sergeant Daryn J. Moran Will Be "Honorably Discharged" From The Air Force
SSGT Moran will be "honorably discharged" from the United States Air Force.
Air Force damage control: Pixel Patriot just spoke with SSGT Daryn J. Moran and SSGT Moran has informed him that he has been "honorably discharged" from the United States Air Force.
We also just received an email from SSGT Moran and it reads as follows,
This is SSgt Daryn J. Moran. The below email is to a reporter about my response to his attempts to reach me for a couple of questions.
I am short on time to discuss much other than to say the Lord has allowed me to remain with my family and we are leaving Germany, and I am receiving an Honorable discharge.
Thank you to all who prayed. What a blessing to know the protection of the Lord.
I will have positive things to say when I get there, in addition to things already distributed. I hope everyone will be prepared to hear the hand of God in all of this, and why my faith is stronger.
Back on American soil within this week, I'm sorry the itinerary is unavailable to the public, but I am coming with my Bible in hand, joy in my heart, and many friends to make and see. Thank God.
Sincerely,
D. Moran
Note: It was just yesterday that the Department of Justice and Air Force officials at the Pentagon visited the postings at this site viewing SSGT Moran's public statements. We are also still working on getting SSGT Moran's complete on-camera video statement. We had upload issues processing the remaining clips. SSGT Moran will deliver the complete UNIFORMED DECLARATION to Pixel Patriot for further processing. Stay tuned for more."

For what it’s worth, I think the guys “status” was too fluid to be 100% believable. By his own words, he was already on leave, he sort of just declared himself AWOL. If you read all of his own comments before he started exchanging emails with BR and P&E, you’ll see that he said he was already being processed out, and he made some confused mention about it not making any difference if he even checked in daily. He started up the whole “birther” thing only after he was already out, just hanging around waiting for the paperwork to finalize.
“the NCO wrote a discharge is imminent and basically paperwork.
“He wrote in a letter posted Aug. 15 on The Post & Email website that he was a “high priority” for being discharged after meeting with mental-health evaluators. Moran wrote on The Blaze that he would soon receive an “administrative and honorable discharge for a ‘personality disorder’”
Is it common to place someone on leave a few days before there discharge paperwork is complete? Maybe if he is diagnosed with a personality disorder.
Did he publish his eligibility concerns prior to his self-declared AWOL status? Does anyone have a history on this guy prior to Aug. 1, 2011?
I wonder what his re-enlistment code will be? R-4?
I didn’t think so. So why are you so upset that they’re not prosecuting this guy?
It wasn't not too long ago that gay behavior was not tolerated in the military.
You can expect much more homosexual related problems, that was imposed on them by a Democrat Congress and Obama, for the military as times goes on.
He was on his way out already.
I guess we will have to disagree. I'll rely on my 28 years of USAF service to guide me.
No, I was relying on a certain level of comprehension.
Why would you say I'm upset he's not being prosecuted?
I know...I'll just say that your upset that Barry Soetoro isn't crowned King for life.
Just through it out there as if it's truth?
What's up with that, guy?
So, they learned more. I don't see adding or correcting information as a story develops as a problem.
For that matter, I don't know if this guy was technically AWOL or not...just because he says he is doesn't mean anything to me...just because the USAF issued a statement doesn't really mean anything either.
Because in your post #20, in response to my question whether you think the Army should bother to prosecute a guy that they're discharging in a matter of days, you said, "If he was still part of the military, yes."
Ping for perspective.
It is CONvenient for OBama and his OBot minions, that any military dissenter questioning Obama’s usurpation is to be removed from service as soon as possible from any government forum in the quickest manner.
No court martial akin to a Billy Mitchell CM public forum if they can avoid it.
I have to agree. Till a trickle becomes a torrent, the little drops need to look out for themselves.
So why didn’t they just discharge Lakin?
So why didnt they just discharge Lakin?
You tell me? I'll correct you when you're wrong.
Yes, we will have to agree to disagree here.
It sounds like they had a discharge in the works for a while, and the guy was on leave pending separation. Here is a good article on typical punishments:
http://usmilitary.about.com/od/justicelawlegislation/a/awol7.htm
As for announcing that you are a birther while in the process of being separated - from my experience, most commanders would just want you to go away. It wouldn’t be worth their time or effort to bring you back in and then bring charges.
LTC Lakin missed a movement to a combat zone, and was an officer intending to stay in the military, so his case was much different.
I didn’t state it was a problem...only that it was ironic.
Because of that...it makes me upset that he isn't?
Are you trying to agitate me?
Interesting.
