According to a Financial Times piece “Inside Match.com,” dated July 29, the president and key engineer, Mandy Ginsberg and Amarnath Thombre, are information-love junkies.
Really: Indeed, says Thombre, “the politics one is quite interesting. Conservatives are far more open to reaching out to someone with a different point of view than a liberal is.” That is, when it comes to looking for love, conservatives are more open-minded than liberals.
Naturally, if you run the world’s biggest dating site, you’re bound to learn a few practical lessons. “With a mountain of data in its servers from the 75 million users it has had since it was founded, Match has been able to uncover a series of curious trends. Some findings are obvious.”
Contrary to made-for-Hollywood stereotypes, conservatives are also more generous givers, according to the most in-depth studies available, such as Who Cares.

Yes. Odd. They do think that all “good people” must think like them.
In general, I see bitterness in American liberals and kindness in American conservatives. It’s so obvious.

Not me. No way I would ever, ever date a liberal. Ever. Besides what kind of man could be a lib? Some whiny and weak simpleton who is surely mentally unbalanced and, more than likely, broke. Nah, thanks, I’d much rather be alone.
Maybe that’s how it is in your neck of the woods; my conservative female friends and I have a traditional view of “who pays” for the first date. My liberal female friends will offer to split the costs with the man, so they are not indebted to him.
That’s a good policy. Just say no to liberals.

I do that when our gang goes out. No cheap stuff allowed. If the meal is $100, there’s 5 of us, everyone chips in the fair share. Heck, you could say we put the fairness’ in the fairness doctrine.
Nowadays, you go out on a date and women will check out how much you pay, unless you hear from them AT bill’ time. Back in univ., the lib girls I go out with that I paid for the entire tab, well, they return in kind’ for the night.

Here, it is the lib chicks who insist on going dutch or paying the tab.
The conservative chicks prefer it when the man pays, and then they will reciprocate on a future date.
I was talking to a liberal woman who was shocked to find out I was conservative. She said I was so easy to talk to and a good listener but it would never work.
The reason she stated was what would I say if she went to a liberal protest rally. I replied” have a good time and call me when you need bailed out of jail” She laughed but it never went anywhere.
I don’t say so on my profile of the site I’m registered with, but I won’t date a liberal. I’m not into finding stupid people.
