Detailed technical analysis of the PDF file the White House released April 27 indicates it is not a scan of the original document, as claimed by the White House, but instead is the final form of an electronic file used to forge the birth certificate on Adobe software, according to reports by experts.
Failure to demonstrate how a simple computer scan can produce the effects observed in the Obama birth certificate PDF lends support to arguments that the Obama birth certificate is a forgery, the experts contend.
OBOTs jump to defend Obama birth certificate
The radical Obama supporters known as OBOTs have repeatedly asserted that experts cited by WND have ignored evidence that the effects observed in the White House-released PDF can be explained by utilizing various tools, such as running Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software and by optimizing the PDF.
Frank Arduini, an OBOT who works at CareFusion and frequently posts argumentative pro-Obama comments on WND forums, made the charge in a recent WND-published article, as seen in Exhibit 1.
Exhibit 1: OBOT poster accuses WND of ignoring evidence
Arduini's LinkedIn.com profile lists him as an IT Business Partner at the health industries company CareFusion, headquartered in San Diego.

Let’s stop pretending the Constitution of the United States holds any meaning among Congress these days.....neither congress or the 4th estate, the MSM. The Constitution, to the left, is just a rag which they disparage with each act. This man, obama, is not eligible, was not eligible, and should have been asked some simple questions....but his lies have won the day. If we were to get a confession from this interloper today, congress would require nothing NOTHING be done. RIP Precisious Constitution....you have no friend in Washington.
“Dreams from My Father memoir is a complete hoax.”
Do you know that Bill Ayers claims to have written
“Dreams from My Father”?
I don’t know if Obambie could write much more then his name.
There was a claim from a few years ago that detailed a trip
where young Obama was sent to Bali, with the most elaborate
typewriter/word processor of the time.
It is claimed that he lugged it up and down the beach, but did not write a single word.
In my defense, that's well above my average.
Good point. I’m not sure about your typewriter claim but I’ve read Jack Cashill’s excellent articles and book ‘Deconstructing Obama’ proving Bill Ayers wrote ‘Dreams’.
“Bite me troll....”
So that’s your evidence that Barack Obama Sr and Ann Dunham are Barry’s parents?
The White House supplied two versions of the birth certificate to the MSM. The AP was supplied a copy without the green safety paper background, while the PDF copy made available at the White House website included the green safety paper background. It is also reported that there have now been observed to be two versions of the PDF file on the White House website. The original version of the PDF file had a different set of metadata than the version more recently appearing on that website. Consequently, it appears there has been some more manipulating of the file and perhaps the digital image of the document.
Don't graphic images involve compression and optimization techniques, as well as OCR, that produce layers?
In short, yes. However, this Portable Document File (PDF) was generated by multiple computer software applications, some of which typically overwrite some prior evidence of such software manipulations. Unfortunately for the inexperienced and/or incompetent forger, some residual effects of the image manipulations were overlooked and remained in the image where they could be discovered.
The false claims about the image layers being the result of OCR scanning is one such example. The purpose of OCR scans is to interpret the images of letter forms as textual alphabetic letters, numbers, and symbols; and those interpretations are then stored in the document as text characters in the appropriate codes. The birth certificate PDF has no such and never had such text information stored in the file, and therefore could not have been produced by an OCR scan which by definition of an OCR scan must have had text entered into the file.
The question of image compression is problematical, because the document contains bit mapped images and continuous tone images, which require different software methods and compression techniques before they were combined into a final PDF container file having its own methods of optimization and compression.
The White House is on the record stating the PDF file was produced by a simple scan of an original birth certificate. The PDF files, meaning both versions posted on the White House website, cannot possibly have been produced by a straightforward scan of an original document. It is also impossible for those files to have been generated by an OCR scan of an original or non-original document of any kind. The data required for an OCR scan is not in the file and could never have been in the file and them removed. The required data for an OCR scan simply is not and never was there where it must be to ever have existed.
One thing I don't see addressed here is how many layers we are talking about.
One "expert" says 50, but that sounds absurd. A smaller number of layers would not be out of place.
A large number of layers would be "absurd," if the document were in fact the product of a simple scan. The observed fact that there are a large number of layers and the contents of those layers is evidence that the PDF is certainly not and never could be the product of a simple scan. Instead, what we find is a poorly done patchwork of bits and pieces taken from a variety of bit mapped image sources and continuous tone invented images pieced together in numerous layers to create a forged composite image. From the point of view of desktop publishing, this alleged birth certificate PDF is the equivalent of a child's efforts to forge a parent's student absence note written in crayon with a mishmash of misspellings. In other words, it is credible only to someone who wants to turn a blind eye and not take notice of its crude failures to deceive.
The text output of the scan can be seen. WND even posted it, claiming it's some sort of hidden code. There, you can see how the scanning software recognized the characters--both correctly and incorrectly.
I will believe what I know as fact and what I personally witnessed.
he said he was born in Mombassa, raised in Indonesia, living in Hawaii with peopel other than his parents, called the black cook POPS and said he was his dad, said he wanted to be president, had a vision of America that was absurd
The natural born citizen clause in the Constitution has been the subject of several attempts to remove it by proposed Amendments to the Constitution in the last fifteen years. Consequently, the question of any President's natural born citizenship can not be "discredited" as you claim, so long as the clause remains in the Constitution. Any person who has sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, is obligated by oath to defend the natural born citizen clause.
By attempting to argue that the natural born citizens clause is "discredited," you are effectively saying that piece of the Constitution is "discredited" along with any person who would act to protect and defend it. It may be argued that any person who says the natural born citizen clause is "discredited" is by self-definition declaring themselves to be a foreign or domestic enemy of the Constitution to the extent of which they seek to nullify and overthrow that part of the Constitution without a lawful Amendment to repeal the clause.
Is it your intent to declare yourself a domestic enemy of the Constitution, the natural born citizen clause, and the people who are sworn by oath to protect and defend it?
Who said that?
Try to reconcile that to the report that the PDF lacks the fonts generated by an OCR scan. How can the text have come from an OCR scan without generating the fonts informatio required by the OCR scan to produce usable text?
"The point is that OCR software is designed to read words in an electronic file into a table so that the words can be manipulated by word-processing software. Failure to generate fonts in the White House-released PDF is evidence OCR software was not run on the file, the expert argues."

Please tells me WTF makes you think you are so well knowing that you have the right to tell others what YOU think is best for a group of people??? Get a hobby, or a puppy, because your tact (and opinionated directions) sucks. A free thinking society need not ask for your derogatory remarks about the subject.
Sorry everyone else...I rarely post, but this statement was so idiotic I had to vomit or post something...
I haven't heard that one before. Is it a new part of your story?
The best stories always evolve with time.
There are several options, depending on the software, for how the text is handled by the software. One look at the text as it was recognized by the scanner will tell you why the fonts were not inserted into the document. One would only do this with a pristine, preferably laser printed, document, not a typewritten document from 50 years ago.
The sole purpose of using OCR here was to determine, roughly, which elements to enhance.
Guess it's above your pay grade too.
Yeeeup, to you it is.
I actually turned down the $60.
