Then get used to the idea of a second term for Beloved Leader, Barack Hussein Sotero (Obama).
Romney can’t win, any more than Dole or McCain.

I think Perry will be the guy.
Regardless of who the nominee is, I hope people here will vote for the GOP nominee instead of staying home, as many here have vowed. Yes, Romney is problematic and Perry has issues, but NO ONE is as bad as the incumbent.
And to those who don’t buy the “lesser of two evils” philosophy, stating that “evil is still evil”, there are many more things that 0bama can/has done to destroy our country that Romney or Perry would not. While each is flawed, they will still do less damage than 0bama.

Palin will run. She will shock and amaze her opponents by the support she gets from simple courageous opposition to Obama. America needs a courageous conservative leader unafraid of taking on establishment politicians of both parties. Sarah is the only one with what it takes to turn us completely around and set us back on course. She will run and she will win.

You do realize that posting pro Romney stuff like this is risking a ZOT.
No Romney, not now not ever. I would rather have Obama. Both are big government progressives. Both will destroy the country. At least with Obama the Democrats will get the blame.
If enough real conservatives make it clear we will not hold our noses this time the establishment will back one of our candidates. They are as afraid of an Obama second term as we are. Make it clear that the only way they get conservative support is with a big "C" Conservative candidate. Anything less and we bolt the party. We held our nose for McCain. This year it is their turn.

I think you overestimate the power of Romney’s magic underpants.

They know she's inevitable.
They knew it the first time they saw her.
It's why they go insane every time they think of her.

The nominee will be Palin or Perry. Romney cannot win a GOP nomination unless he essentially runs unopposed.

I once posted a moderately pro-Romney thread after seeing him on one of the Sunday shows, sounding uncharacteristically principled.
To atone I sent a donation to the FReepathon.
You should perhaps consider that...

Romney is MUCH stronger right now. Just as he was at this point in 2007, along with Giuliani. How again did that turn out for the both of them... refresh our memories, if you would.

YOu are risking a Zot (which I think is ridiculous) but I somewhat think you may be right. It’s not too far-fetched to think there is a schism in the GOP. Look at what establishment hacks like Karl Rove did to Christine O’Donnell. Mitt Romney is an establishment man, and will have the support of party insiders. It’s a shame & I truly hope that you & I are wrong.
If it comes down to Romney vs Obama, I won’t vote. I do not trust Romney’s “pro-life” credentials. I’ll sit this one out.
