I have a feeling these guys are being blackmailed or something. There are millions that go into Alinskyite mode when any person with power goes off the plantation. Intimidation will work on over 90 percent of politicians probably—at least.
Good people don’t want to put their families on the line—you have seen what they did with Palin’s family. It is viscous and some people have much more to hide than Palin. It is hard to make her look bad, although they keep trying 24/7.

.
And vicious too! :o)
I'm still hoping that some underling wrote this response, and not Tom McClintock. If he really did write it, then he's been compromised somehow. There's no way that someone of his caliber and experience in Congress doesn't realize that Zero's eligibility is suspect (to say the least).
“I have a feeling these guys are being blackmailed or something.”
There’s a herd mentality that dominates busy people. They see the herd run in a certain direction and they don’t fight it. If McClintock had seen the actual B.C., then he’d have an important opinion. If he can discredit John Jay’s interpretation of Vattel, then he has an important opinion. Most “legitimizers” are just skimming surface buz, intellectual lightweights on this issue.
