Elites and politicians do that all the time-—they “share” their wisdom with the masses, yet there is no substance of philosophy or thinking behind it. Thomas Sowell and Darymple write about the arrogance of elites who have no experience of practice with their “theories” yet treat them as fact. Their “theories” weather like Marx and Bentham’s always destroy societies—they don’t work. Yet textbooks keep quoting the inane theories—like Keynsian economics as fact which is workable, and the only acceptable method which is a lie. Useful idiots always believe it because they have no intellectual knowledge of philosophy...where ideas come from and the causes of history—so they can not discern between the good ideas (like the Founders) or the dysfunctional ones, destruction of all happiness and agency, like Marxism.

But the arrogant elites vote themselves the power, and, they think with it, the mass of serfs. It is all about power and egos. But it only works with the unthinking masses—the ignorant—and that is why our public schools quit teaching and educating in the 30’s. They wanted a populous who couldn’t think, and only acted on “feelings” like Marcuse wanted and the Ayers wanted when they wrote curricula which the Foundations put millions into to brainwash the masses (so tricky!!!!)—so they had their mob Thugocracy—their SIEU, their ACORNS, chicago mafia, so that they could force a fundamental change from our Founding documents.

I do think that opinion is stifled and controlled by the Alinskyite methods of the “free” press. They use it to destroy those who go off the plantation.

They used it to destroy McCarthy—to destroy the “masses” opinion by lies and innuendoes splashed with a little truth. Most people like McClintock have an instinct to avoid pain.....and he is just avoiding the pain of being attacked by MSM and the mobs. He should of just kept quiet on the subject and retained some integrity. How politicians can think they can retain integrity and God’s love by allowing this country to be destroyed by Satanic ideas is beyond me, though. They will have to live with themselves and their children’s loathing when their children discover their acquiescence to evil—the Truth ALWAYS rises to the top—eventually. May be too late for most of us.....but then God always has a plan and will win.

The only reason we still have a modicum of freedom is because of the internet and a few legal brave scholars that fight for the meaning and intent of our Constitution. But even that document would be unrecognizable to all the Founders.

“Thomas Sowell and Darymple write about the arrogance of elites who have no experience of practice with their “theories” yet treat them as fact.”

Sowell really nailed them with “Intellectuals and Society”. That should be mandatory reading in High School. And what a maxim: “No one knows 1% of everything.” Death knoll of intellectual power.

“Their “theories” weather like Marx and Bentham’s always destroy societies—they don’t work. Yet textbooks keep quoting the inane theories—like Keynsian economics as fact which is workable, and the only acceptable method which is a lie.”

We need to stop the brainwashing cycle. Absolutely.

“Useful idiots always believe it because they have no intellectual knowledge of philosophy...where ideas come from and the causes of history—so they can not discern between the good ideas (like the Founders) or the dysfunctional ones, destruction of all happiness and agency, like Marxism.”

Right. President Bush for example. It was easy for corrupt intellectuals to scare him into supporting TARP. He let them lead him via techno-babble. That’s what most moderates and leftists are, followers of cargo cults easily manipulated by snake-oil.

“But the arrogant elites vote themselves the power, and, they think with it, the mass of serfs. It is all about power and egos.”

For example, atheists are better off in religious nations unless they are muslim. The irony is that most atheists support muslims just to tweak Christians. What atheists really want is neighborhoods packed with “free love”. That’s their fantasy. They want it so badly that they are willing to destroy culture via Frankfurt School dogma.

“They wanted a populous who couldn’t think, and only acted on “feelings” like Marcuse wanted ...”

THE NEW DARK AGE

The Frankfurt School and “Political Correctness”

[Very powerful article once you get past the weak lament of art, theater, and music.]

“Adorno’s old Kant instructor, now a film theorist; {{Norman O. Brown,}} who would become famous in the 1960’s by combining Marcuse’s hedonism theory with {{Wilhelm Reich’s}} orgone therapy to popularize “polymorphous perversity”; {{Barrington Moore, Jr.,}} later a philosophy professor who would co-author a book with Marcuse; {{Gregory Bateson,}} the husband of anthropologist {{Margaret Mead}} (who wrote for the Frankfurt School’s journal), and {{Arthur Schlesinger,}} the historian who joined the Kennedy Administration ... Marcuse’s wife, worked at the Office of Naval Intelligence [prior to JFK] ...”

“... and the Ayers wanted when they wrote curricula which the Foundations put millions into to brainwash the masses (so tricky!!!!)—so they had their mob Thugocracy—their SIEU, their ACORNS, chicago mafia, so that they could force a fundamental change from our Founding documents.”

“They used it to destroy McCarthy—to destroy the “masses” opinion by lies and innuendoes splashed with a little truth.”

Back to the THE NEW DARK AGE, the Frankfurt School infiltrated our defense and intelligence community as well as Hollywood. They also tested brainwashing techniques:

“... coming to America, he worked for the World War II Office of Strategic Services (OSS), and later became the U.S. State Department’s top analyst of Soviet policy during the height of the McCarthy period; in the 1960’s, he turned again, to become the most important guru of the New Left; and he ended his days helping to found the environmentalist extremist Green Party in West Germany ... After completing studies at the University of Frankfurt, Walter Benjamin planned to emigrate to Palestine in 1924 with his friend {{Gershom Scholem}} (who later became one of Israel’s most famous philosophers, as well as Judaism’s leading gnostic), but was prevented by a love affair with {{Asja Lacis,}} a Latvian actress and Comintern stringer. Lacis whisked him off to the Italian island of Capri, a cult center from the time of the Emperor Tiberius, then used as a Comintern training base; the heretofore apolitical Benjamin wrote Scholem from Capri, that he had found “an existential liberation and an intensive insight into the actuality of radical communism.” Lacis later took Benjamin to Moscow for further indoctrination, where he met playwright {{Bertolt Brecht,}} with whom he would begin a long collaboration; soon thereafter, while working on the first German translation of the drug- enthusiast French poet Baudelaire, Benjamin began serious experimentation with hallucinogens. In 1927, he was in Berlin as part of a group led by Adorno, studying the works of Lukacs; other members of the study group included Brecht and his composer-partner {{Kurt Weill;}} {{Hans Eisler,}} another composer who would later become a Hollywood film score composer and co-author with Adorno of the textbook {Composition for the Film}; the avant-garde photographer {{Imre Moholy-Nagy}}; and the conductor {{Otto Klemperer.}}”

[Brainwashing ...]

“The Rockefeller Foundation enlisted several universities, and headquartered this network at the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. Named the Office of Radio Research, it was popularly known as “the Radio Project.”

“The director of the Project was {{Paul Lazersfeld,}} the foster son of Austrian Marxist economist Rudolph Hilferding, and a long-time collaborator of the I.S.R. from the early 1930’s. Under Lazersfeld was {{Frank Stanton,}} a recent Ph.D. in industrial psychology from Ohio State, who had just been made research director of Columbia Broadcasting System—a grand title but a lowly position. After World War II, Stanton became president of the CBS News Division, and ultimately president of CBS at the height of the TV network’s power; he also became Chairman of the Board of the RAND Corporation, and a member of President Lyndon Johnson’s “kitchen cabinet.” Among the Project’s researchers were {{Herta Herzog,}} who married Lazersfeld and became the first director of research for the Voice of America; and {{Hazel Gaudet,}} who became one of the nation’s leading political pollsters. Theodor Adorno was named chief of the Project’s music section.

“Despite the official gloss, the activities of the Radio Project make it clear that its purpose was to test empirically the Adorno-Benjamin thesis that the net effect of the mass media could be to atomize and increase lability— what people would later call “brainwashing.”

[unquote — much more depth than this in the expose. Back to you ...]

“Most people like McClintock have an instinct to avoid pain ...” Absolutely. That’s half of the conditioning of Pavlov’s Dogs. A surface knee-jerk response because they have “more serious matters” [or so they think].

“How politicians can think they can retain integrity and God’s love by allowing this country to be destroyed by Satanic ideas is beyond me, though.”

That’s where we differ. I don’t believe McClintock, Boortz, or Beck are consciously empowering evil. They are prioritizing their time the best way they know. As Sowell says, “No one knows 1% of everything.” When I know an anti-leftist is in the wrong, I try to bring him a sting of Truth to balance things out, but the trick is to not alienate them completely.

On the other hand, bear in mind that there are operatives on this very forum who turn other FReepers into useful idiots. And there are set-ups that make easy straw men to tear up. We need to remember how confusing it gets for people. Lord knows, I don’t know HALF of the nuances of certifigate. And few people on the street or in congress have researched it as much as I have. The closer you get to news rooms and the beltway, the harder it is to support the truth. But the good news? This issue is not going away — ever; the truth is not easy to destroy.

“The only reason we still have a modicum of freedom is because of the internet and a few legal brave scholars that fight for the meaning and intent of our Constitution. But even that document would be unrecognizable to all the Founders.”

Actually the sophistication of some coverups requires college level studies. And the awsome thing is how rapidly those studies can be simplified and trumpeted by talented communicators.

This is the Left’s Dunkirk my FRiend, and they don’t even know enough to mobilize yet. They’re still hoping more than thinking.
