Get ready, America. This upcoming July 4 is about more than simply celebrating our nations founding. Apparently, its also an opportunity for Atheists to set the record straight about their patriotism.
Thus, on Monday, people in 27 states will have the opportunity to look up in the sky and see airplanes flying banners that proudly say God-LESS America or Atheism is Patriotic. The campaign, being organized by the New Jersey-based American Atheists, is sure to stoke the fires of controversy.

Yes, desiring to kill those of differing religious beliefs is just so along the lines of the Founders' vision for this country.

If it can be construed that the interstate commerce clause gives the government the right to regulate me NOT buying something, then their absence of religion embraced by the state is a violation of the First Amendment prohibition of the establishment of a religion.
Someone needs to remind these people that atheism is a religion too.
I was an avowed atheist for 20 years after my high school graduation.
I am not one now. Everybody has their own path to come to God, so I don’t begrudge atheists their beliefs. I just hope they eventually come to a deeper understanding.
But I do wish they would stop trying to use the law to force their belief on the rest of us.

I’ve been going to my neighborhood 4th of July celebration for almost 50 years. I’ve never seen any religious activity. So why this?
Just a little light humor ahead of the real fireworks. The Founders would have had them tarred and feathered. Sadly, one day they will know the Truth.

The unalienable rights of atheists also come from their Creator, whether they wish to acknowledge Him or not.
I’ll pay extra to have a banner trailing theirs saying, “Obama is a D*ck”.
I know, it’s got nothing to do with the original banner, but we may as well have something up there that actually has a bearing on the truth.
I guess it wouldn’t be very Christian-like to wish really bad things to happen to these people, so I won’t. But if something does...well, I won’t be too sad.
