A federal indictment states that Dawkins started to fill out a passport application in 2004, didn't complete it, then filled out a new application two years later.
On that new application, he checked a box "no" for the question, "Have you ever applied before?" according to the indictment.
Dawkins got the passport, but three months ago, the government issued a warrant for his arrest. He was taking photos for the Navy at the time.
When Dawkins got back to the U.S. in April, he was arrested about a week later and has been in jail for two months since...."

How much longer is the public going to put up with this fraud’s dictatorial tactics?
This seems pretty damn odd. In my view, “applying” would imply having submitted the paperwork, and either being approved or denied. Starting and then not completing the application process should not be considered as counting, and absent any displayable intention to commit a criminal act, he should not be in jail.
You are thinking like a logical Human Being.
The Government has to put its thumb down on everyone to ensure they rule.
This doesn’t smell right.
What judge is authorizing that this guy be held? If it’s as simple as an incomplete passport application, I’d think any judge would have freed him by now.
Someone needs to google and find out what the real story is.
This looks like typical Chicago thug politics at a national level.
The message is simple:
Since you won’t support my Dream Act I will punish your beloved military members who are the border when it comes to citizenship.
This is simple retribution against the American people for not supporting his open borders policy.

Something about this story is off-kilter. The story claims he was arrested only because of the clerical error. The link advises the state-dept claims there is more to the story than what is reported here.
Hopefully, there will be more info available soon after the court hearing mentioned at the link.
And to be clear — if the state-dept arrested & jailed (for 2 months so far) a soldier and citizen merely for checking the wrong box on a form, then I think all hell should break loose on the State dept.
There had better be more to this story to justify what has happened so far.
