We should be so lucky for that to happen.

Oh man, I truly hope so, that Odumbo will resign! Then I can have hope for the first time since 2008 election night!

Not agreeing or disagreeing, but asking how funny Joe Bite-Me would be as president. obama has f-ed up this country pretty badly, and then Plugs steps in and makes an ass of himself regularly. Ah, the faces of the Democrat party. BTW, that last sentence was not meant to invoke an Albright pic.

Wishful thinking. He has already successfully defused the birth certificate issue. Now he has to be beaten on policies.

Anyone who reads Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution, however, can make that case in less than a minute.
However birthers only started making that case in late 2008 after the "born in Kenya" nonsense didn't gain any traction. If the requirement was for 2 citizen parents at birth then we should have heard that argument in February 2007 when he declared his candidacy.

Does that mean we can stop entertaining the idea of nominating completely unacceptable candidates out of fear of losing to Obama?

Not a chance. Why would he resign over the “natural born” issue? The Democrat party and the agents in the press have already covered for him.

I would agree that there is a possibility and would like to see it happen; but his massive ego and his wife’s obsession with grabbin’ all da goodies she can while she lives like Marie Antoinette will not allow such thoughts.

Considering his objective for the country, he is one of the more successful presidents. The damage is extensive and could be irreversible.

I predict that Barack Hussein Obama will resign before the end of his first term. He may well do so prior to the September 2012 Democratic Party convention."
Not a chance.

He won’t resign in order to protect his legacy. A more plausible outcome would be for the democratic party to pressure him into not running for a 2nd term in order to get a candidate that stands a better chance (Hillery?).
