It's all weed-weed up.
Weed it and reap.

Yeah where the battle was...

I don’t know what that weed is, but your fence is over the property line. Be nice to your neighbor- you’ll need his permission to sell your house.

Not milkweed. Milkweed has much longer leaves.

Would you happen to have a nursery nearby or a horticulturist? If so, just take a clipping to them to identify.

For how long have you been suffering from that stiffness in your left wrist?

It may be a member of the clover family, some grow fairly tall. It sort of looks like Yellow Sweet Clover which is common her in NM, but that is a member of the bean family. It is also found in CA except the desert.
A botanist or knowledgeable garden center person should be able to help, that three leaf structure is a sure tipoff to someone familiar with local invasive plants.

Looks like a sugar plant.

there is a site called
www.hometalk.com where you can post pics of stuff like this and a lot of local professionals etc.... will answer you back pretty quickly. i use it quite a bit to get an opinion or 2 before i attempt to do something around the house/ it's always been free as far as i know.

I’d shoot it. It looks like it’s sprouting some sort of human-looking hand.

Select "Images" in Google and then Google "monarch chrysalis"
The dern coccoon is more stunningly beautiful than the flippin butterfly. I used to collect them as a kid and watch them open in my bedroom.
The newly-hatched butterflies crawl out all wet and wobbly and kinda stuck together--looking like a shiny, black miniature horror monster. Then you have to place them in direct sunlight (they won't hatch if the day is overcast or rainy!).
They hang feebly on the empty chrysalis-husk and they slowly start to move their wings. As the wings dry and expand, the motions become faster and more well-coordinated, speeding up and speeding up until...
... it just flies away.
Truly a religious experience. One of many from my youth.

I have the same watch, it’s the only watch I’ve owned that can survive life on the farm.
