It may not come as surprising news to many of you that the United Nations doesnt approve of our Second Amendment. Not one bit. And they very much hope to do something about it with help from some powerful American friends. Under the guise of a proposed global Small Arms Treaty premised to fight terrorism, insurgency and international crime syndicates you can be quite certain that an even more insidious threat is being targeted our Constitutional right for law-abiding citizens to own and bear arms.

Yes, this is old news to some. However, this is a discussion that needs to stay alive, especially since none of the announced presidential candidates are talking about this.

The second Amendment is the only thing keeping one world gov’t away. Guns are the freemans only tool in the end.

“However, this is a discussion that needs to stay alive, especially since none of the announced presidential candidates are talking about this.”
There is one unannounced candidate who would unambiguously tell the UN to go pound sand on this issue.
Palin ‘12!!!

The way for our progressives to circumvent the 2nd amendment or anything else that they don't like about our Constitution, is through a treaty.

Blue helmets are easy to spot and they make for great target practice. Except it won't be the blue helmets who come to take your firearms. It will be primarily your local police abetted by various federal alphabet soup agencies

YES, SHE CAN!
You’re 1000% correct.

Another reason to make sure the good guys (or gals, in the case of Palin and Bachmann) win in ‘12.

When I was younger, I supported the concept of the United Nations; thought it was a good idea, if flawed in its execution. But the more I think about it, the whole concept is flawed. Can there ever be a truly unbiased international organization? Probably not. Should we even try to have one? Unsure. I know one thing. I am ready for the United Nations to find a new home. As far away as possible. (Don’t want us to leave the U.N., we need to keep an eye on it, but we can cut back our funding.)
Just one surly curmudgeon’s rant.
