Presidential Advisor Eyes Texas’ Electoral Votes
A Semi-News/Semi-Satire from AzConservative ^ | 14 May 2011 | John Semmens

While most political observers see little chance for moving Texas’ electoral votes out of the GOP column in the 2012 balloting, a leading Obama advisor disagrees.

Obama senior adviser David Plouffe pointed out that “a 50% decline in arrests at the border has led to a surge of Hispanics who can be counted on to vote for the President. Getting these people registered and out to the polls will be the key.”

Plouffe added that “the president’s message of opposing crack downs on illegal immigration and photo IDs for voters has resonated well with the Hispanic community. If we can get these people motivated to actually vote I think we can take this state.”

Marc Campos, a Houston-based Democratic political consultant agreed, “If they spend a fraction of their billion dollar campaign fund we can make it happen. A million votes at a price of $15 to $25 apiece is attainable.”

Senator John McCain took Texas’ 34 electoral votes in the 2008 presidential election, defeating then Senator Barack Obama by a million votes in the state.

It’s funny, pandering used to be an epithet...now it’s an art form. And it’s admired.

Dreaming. Zero has lost all of the South and SW. If Zero doesn’t fix the oil problem, he will lose the West and Mountain states.

It really is brazen to go on record encouraging illegal activity. Either that or it didn’t happen. Obama’s people are stupid, but that is just breathtakingly stupid.

Oh puleeze. Kind of like California was “in play” for Republicans, huh. Hope they spend a ton of Soro’s money in Texas.

In twenty or thirty years Texas will start voting Democrat because of non-white voters at the Presidential level and then it will be all over for Republicans.

Before that, Republicans will lose Virgina, Nevada, Colorado and Florida for the same reason.

Why don't they just go to Mexico and start registering voters down there. They can even open hundreds of voting locations down there for election day. Diebold would be more than happy to sell more voting machines.

Because only whites have conservative values, right? And conservative values, low taxes, and a non-invasive government is only something that interests whites, right?

This idea that demographics is destiny is nonsense.

Oh yeah, that wild fire “poke in the eye” to Texans, no aid to them but aid to Mexico, is really going to help Barky`s election chances, right?

Ah ... so it IS all about the votes. The Dems care nothing about immigrants ... they only want to use them to stay in power.

Won't do any good. They'll be boots and belts in a matter of weeks.

I can see a new voter registration process coming soon...those illegals crossing the Rio via flotation devices will be eligible for the “Floater Boater Voter” registration.

those illegals crossing the Rio via flotation devices will be eligible for the “Floater Boater Voter” registration. You've coined a new phrase, now we need to make it viral.
