Boeing Completes First Test Flight of Phantom Ray Stealth UAV

Additional test flights to take place of the next few weeks
Boeing first unveiled a near-complete version of its Phantom Ray unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) nearly a year ago. This week, the company announced that its Phantom Ray has completed its first flight.

"Autonomous, fighter-sized unmanned aircraft are real," said Phantom Ray program manager Craig Brown. "The UAS bar has been raised. Now Im eager to see how high that bar will go."

If you ever saw the Chevy Chase movie “Deal of the Century” it will remind you of the Peacemaker UAV fighter that goes haywire at an airshow.
I know the fighter jockeys in the USAF command structure have a lot of clout, but are the days of UAV fighters not so far off? A super UAV could do more gs in manouvers against manned fighters because there wouldn’t be an onboard human to worry about.
