You can compress all layers down to one, but someone clearly did not do that last step to make a good forgery

Because of poor scanning or dumb photo editing, there are enough questions now to allow Hawaii to let a team of partisan and independent investigators in to see this actual document in the bound book that it apparently is in.

Just a question. Why in Obamas certificate does the state and county show as Honolulu, Hawaii and Susan Nordykes says Honolulu, Oahu?

Wonder if that was just an error or if the custom was to use Honolulu, Oahu? It would be interesting to see if the Hawaii which is factually correct, was in regular use back in 1961.

All I am saying is that the theory that OCR was used and is responsible for what we see in the separate layers requires belief of some very curious things.

I remain agnostic on the issue at large. I am mainly curious as to why the entire situation has proceeded as it has. Rather than scrutinize this image, I would really like to know why Obama spent more than two years and a sizable chunk of change fighting the release of this only to unceremoniously release it now. I would really like to know why various people in the state of Hawaii said 50 different (and contradictory) things about this issue. I’m a research scientist and an engineer. This is how I think.

Even if flattened, the evidence is still there. Digital images are componsed of blocks. All of the material in the first layer is composed of one size blocks. All of the material in the second layer, including the green hash background are larger blocks. That can't happen in a single source document.

Maginify the document to maximum and it is easy to see. Import it into photoshop and you can magnify more and photoshop adds a grid that makes it even easier to see.

OCR doesn't selectively make layers for the two most important signatures and three date stamps. Nor does OCR split the word Kansas and None in box 17.

There are separate OBJECTS, not necessarily ‘layers’.

What I don’t understand is why Mr. Oboma had to go to the state to get a copy of both versions of his BC. Didn’t he have his own copy? What has he used all his life? Surely he has needed to provide it at various times over the years.

I just found it a couple days ago myself. I never bothered to research the “African isn’t a race” claim until then. I got tired of the same rumors with no answers. So, I spent ten minutes to look it up. It answers the question in my mind.

Many have disregarded it because of the source. So I may actually take the time to find the data on ancestry.com. The child was born in 1907, so it should be available somewhere. If I look and find it, I’ll post it and ping you to it.

Amen to your post 154. I’ve signed hundreds of birth certs at work and this one was in the same vein. Let’s get him out of office because of his enormous faults and errors, not some Art Bell theory!

The answer would appear to be in posts 95, 121, 122, and 138.

Apparently there is commonly used software (Adobe Acrobat, I would surmise) that does Optical Character Recognition on a scanned document in the process of converting it to a PDF, and splits the scanned image into actual text where it detects characters that can be converted, plus images, then recombines those into the pdf.

Apparently it does this for the sake of making the resulting document text-searchable.

Again, in order to challenge the validity of this document, as far as I can tell, one needs to:

1. Demonstrate that the certificate the White House released is NOT what was received from Hawaii.

or,

2. Demonstrate that the certificates the State of Hawaii supplied are themselves forged.

or,

3. Demonstrate that the letter posted from Loretta J Fuddy is a forgery.

Unless you can do one (or more) of the three, and do so in an iron-clad manner, you really don’t have anything (as far as I can tell) that demonstrates the new certificate is a forgery.

The presence of layers in the PDF could well turn out to be relevant to one of the three items above, but unless you can convincingly demonstrate the layers aren’t “innocently” there, that fact alone does not seem sufficient to label the release a forgery.

OR: Find another angle (e.g., Leo Donofrio's) by which the document is irrelevant and Obama is ineligible in spite of having been born in the US. I haven't delved deeply enough into Donofrio's writings, but I have seen at least one judicial writing going back (I think) to the mid 1800s that expressed that any person born in the US even of alien parents not of diplomats/ others who were not subject to US jurisdiction is a natural born citizen.

Perhaps it's a dual-citizenship angle, as he was indisputably a dual citizen of the UK/then Kenya and the US. His own web site admits this.

Perhaps he lost his citizenship when adopted by Soetoro. Although the small bit of judicial comment I've seen on this doesn't seem promising, either.

And of course, the other option is to defeat Obama politically based on his wrong-headed and disastrous policies.

HOLY CRAP!!!!! How to explain THAT??? Did the nurse write the date for the women, or something? Still, even if that is the official reason ( and one of the women is still alive to be asked, not that she would remember but she might recognize her own handwriting), who would write the date exactly the same like a photocopy, one day apart?? WEIRD. Are there any other BCs of people born that week in that hospital?

Those mother’s signature dates for Dunham and Nordyke are as alike as a photocopy.

This could explain why they did not catch the layers feature and correct it before posting.

The Mac version of Adobe is different than the PC version and these issues become highlighted when you open the document on a PC.
