Trump: How did Obama get into the Ivy League?

Donald Trump on Monday suggested he had broadened the scope of his investigation regarding President Obama's background, arguing that - in addition to making inquiries into Mr. Obama's citizenship - he was "looking into" the president's college career.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Trump alleged that Mr. Obama had been "a terrible student," and wondered how he could have been accepted to prestigious schools like Columbia and Harvard Universities.

"I heard he was a terrible student, terrible," Trump told the AP. "How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard? I'm thinking about it, I'm certainly looking into it. Let him show his records."

In general, Columbia and Harvard (as well as other highly selective schools) will do almost anything to improve their AA numbers. That is all the more true when someone comes along with the right sponsors and political pedigree.

Once he was in HLS, Obamalini was astute enough to use his personality to allow the anguished leftists on the faculty feel good about themselves. Larry Tribe would be a good example.

I am glad Trump is looking into the College years.
How was Soetor0 a foreign student? what where his grades?
Who got him into Columbia?
Where are his professors, ex girlfriends, and friends?
How did he get into Harvard law? that is difficult. What did he do and write at Harvard?

Didn’t read the whole article, but here is my prediction:

After the initial question, the reporter will start to smear Trump as stupid, idiotic, etc.

This is because the standard rule is, if a Democrat is questioned by a whistleblower, the MSM MUST ATTACK the whistleblower/questioner. I’ve never seen differently. People who legitimately bring abusers to notice are astounded to find the press will turn on them, viciously, even for a person accused of heinous crimes. The original accusation will be totally ignored.

If it is a Republican/Conservative who is being exposed, no scrutiny whatsover will go into the person who brings it to mind. They can be the lowest of the low. It makes no difference, suddenly every bit of gossip will be frontpage news and the whistleblower will be a great “hero”.

There are no exceptions.

Isn't it interesting that the question of why Obama with his poor grades got into Harvard Law and became the President of the Law Review ties into the other question of why Obama didn't put out an Easter message but has not missed ANY Muslim holidays??????

I think a little differently about this. Yes we think these things, but Trump is seriously off- track. Personal attacks are made when someone is working from a position of weakness. Instead of this, which will galvanize his voting base, focus on the flip- flopping, the sheer absence of leadership in every aspect of the Office, the total disregard for The Constitution. Remember you are talking about the cult of personality here.. it does not respond logically.... it only responds when it is personal.. to them, not to him. He was perfectly happy to be a one term Prez, to make room for Hillary.

Harvard grads are (especially undergrads) sometimes the most poorly educated, never seen anything but a TA, dumbest bastards on the earth.

Guess that means you'd rather have a community college educated Thorasic Surgeon operate on you than one from Harvard Med.........

Your broad brush incrimination of Harvard grads does an extreme disservice to those who indeed struggled to gain acceptance and ultimately graduate from that university........

I agree. Chances are he applied to Occidental as a foreign student from Indonesia to access foreign student scholarship funds. He probably had dual citizenship having been adopted by an Indonesian. He, of course, wants to conceal the fact that he gamed the system to access the scholarship funds. And that is why he will not release student records.

Remember you are talking about the cult of personality here.

Not when it comes to the so-called independent or moderate voter -- the voter who might have voted Republican in 2008 but decided to give Obama a try without really knowing anything about the man. I think it matters very much to that voter who Obama really is and what he is covering up.

He might have applied as an Indonesian JUST TO GET IN! It doesn't mean he got scholarship funds. It might be easier to get into some schools as a foreigner. He may even have RECEIVED COLLEGE FUNDS FROM INDONESIA to get in!!!!
