This is what needs to be done and thanks to sites like Twitter and to citizen journalism, it can happen. Papa Johns was alerted to the beyond odious post on Wonkette and, as a result, they say they are taking steps to ensure their ads no longer appear on the sewer slime trash site.
@robertcurlin Thank you for alerting us to this. Weve taken steps to make sure our advertising doesnt appear on that site in the future. about 3 hours ago via HootSuite in reply to robertcurlin
If you choose to be disgusting and vile in order to garner the attention you so desperately crave, dont be surprised when that attention backfires when those with common decency are outraged and call you out on it. And when advertisers use their right to pull their ads from sites that publish absolute filth. Well done, Papa Johns.

This is great! The little fatty is now calling for a boycott of Papa John’s, lol! Whatta way to attract other advertisers.
Just read a great new word: buycott.
I'm in for this weekend.
We will be going back to papa johns...I am not kidding. It is the best pizza we have had in years and years and the first time in the 15 yrs we have lived here that we purchased one.
Our bad!
I also told the manager there that we were there to give them business because of the rapid way John took his ad off of a website (and named wonkette) that ridiculed Sarah Palin's little child. I asked her to please send this info to htq. and she wrote down everything. Hope she does.
Doubt that boy has ever seen a live woman naked before...what a vile, stinking pig...hope his mother is REEEEEEAL proud. Doesn’t say much for Georgetown, either...
Just finished our first...well, part of it, two large pizza's will do us for lunch tomorrow and then some, lol! One was called John's favorite and the other a custom order, anything ya want on it, two for twenty dollars, both large. Got that cinnomon thingie two (yum!!!) Got the drinks at home....bud light.
Gotta tell ya...it is SUPER PIZZA. Not kidding!!!!!!
ALso saw where someone above gave fast track to customer feedback at papa johns htq, I hope, and I sent them off a note!
Lovely! Freepers are the best! I’m looking for a Papa John’s near me.
I went to his facebook page and it doesn’t even look like he’s a Georgetown graduate. And - if you can believe it - he was an English major.
...so he’s just a ‘wannabe’ wearing the sweatshirt..?
What's the email contact?
About to order a large now.
Wasn’t wonkette founded by some skanky broad who was working as an aide to some Dem pol and taking it up the keester??
Good. I know I will be turning to him for my pizzas from now on...I mean...they are GOOD! Sad this whole thing happened, but kinda of happy about it to. I’m not trying to sell this pizza, I’m just kinda glad that since we did it, we’re really glad to know how good it is.
So that’s made my decision on dinner tonight ... calling Papa John’s (whose pizza imo is the best of the deliveries).
He doesn’t say he graduated from Georgetown just that he went there. Usually when people are graduates, they post it along with their degree (B.A. or B.S. - the latter which perfectly suits him, lol!).
I last had Papa Johns many years ago and didn’t like it much. We’ll see how it goes tonight.
that sure looks like the G’town campus (the old part of it, at least).
“I suggest we all go out and by a Papa Johns pizza this week. And if Hugs pulls their ads, Ill buy some diapers today. No babies here but Ill buy them anyhow.”
Are we saying that this site was a model citizen BEFORE the disgusting Trig Palin post? Not familiar with the @$$h01e$ there but I kinda doubt it.
Geez, I’m not saying anything like that. How the hell do I know about that? They did the right thing in dropping Wonkette and I am going to reward them.
