Shouldnt we be in the process of teaching second graders to be proficient in reading and writing before teaching them how ticked off Rosa Parks was at white people?

He explains why he chose this as one of the books on the Civil Rights Movement and how it challenges the myths he learned as a child about Rosa Parks. Most children at that age dont see color and if they do, it shouldnt be equated with good and evil. If this video featured white children being told how bad an ethnic minority had treated them, we all know what the outcome would be.

Social Justice in second grade???? Don’t second graders already sit around screaming for others to give them whatever they want even though they haven’t earned it and the others can’t afford it?????
