Not sure what they do during Ashura on children but I do know that they whip themselves with chains and cut themselves with swords and knives. I worked at a hospital in Bahrain and I wasn’t allowed to go to work for that week because it was too dangerous. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did harm their own children.
