"Im a conservative on most issues but a liberal on health. It is an unacceptable but accurate fact that the number of uninsured Americans has risen to 42 million. Working out detailed plans will take time. But the goal should be clear: Our people are our greatest asset. We must take care of our own. We must have universal healthcare."

I’ve never considered universal care to be the problem, but rather the federal take over of care. Whether it is education, healthcare or whatever, the feds should do no more than set up the regulatory framework. The actual management of these programs should be as local as possible.

I’ll not vote for him, but I’ll root for him to blast about Obama’s lack of a BC.

Good post.
The headlines today make it sound like Trump is some kind of conservative. They don’t mention the fact that he supported John Kerry in 2004 and then supported Hillary in the 08 primaries.
Sorry Trump, not falling for your BS.

Which Republican Presidential Contender Said: "We must have universal healthcare?" The same one that let Ghadaffy camp out on his lawn awhile back?

In other words Donald, being “a liberal on health” means you want health to occur the natural way—without the help of doctors.

Trump’s view is similar to most big business...they want health care off their back.

Is that so, Donald? What about when it comes to choosing who you want for president?
“Asked about Hillary Clinton, Trump praised the former first lady, saying he thought she was ready to be commander-in-chief.”

And tell us, Donald—what part of Hillary Clinton do you find to be conservative?
