If memory serves me correctly, the work ethic up there is centered around a phrase that means something along the lines of ‘just enough’, where you do the minimal possible to get by to maximize your personal enjoyment time.
That isn’t exactly traditional in the US.
I have a feeling the OP comes from a family tree that was left behind to cook and clean for the women while real Vikings went off doing their Viking things.
As cripplecreek said, Vikings don’t pee sitting down. The Viking blood all died in battle or conquered another land and stayed there.
The word is “Lagom” and is used more to suggest that moderation is preferable to excess.
IMHO, going “Viking” on the lot of socialists occupying high office and those firmly attached to the teat of this nation is utterly and completely called for.
Sorry, but the Rape, Pillage & Plunder franchise is now solidly in the hands of Somalis and other muslims. Vikings need not apply. (Other than for latrine duty in the muslim camps perhaps.)
